Ok, this seems weird. Nevertheless, can you tell me if story wise, the game is as good or at least similar in quality to Black Souls 1 and 2?

Oh it's definitely not Black Souls level good in terms of story but it's still a pretty good game. If Black Souls 2 is 10 then I'd give this one a 6 or even a 7. The main difference is that this one has a pretty concrete (and good) ending so a sequel seems unlikely. There's supposed to be a DLC meant to come out to tie up a few remaining loose ends but overall the story is good and gets a nice little conclusion too. If you liked Black Souls then I recommend you give this one a shot. It's nowhere near as long as BS either so you can finish even up to the True Ending in like some hours tops unlike Black Souls that has a boatload of content and more to come.

There is an area where you can turn them into weapons, armor, skills or items. Or just eat them for normal Souls. The area itself is past the mansion, deep in the cave behind it and past Maruoris' (one of the big four bosses) boss fight. Looks like an Ice Cavern.

I feel like 6 or 7 is too low, although they're arbitrary ranks anyway. It's at least worth considering that, as games, story isn't the only thing that's important; I strongly feel that the level design is vastly better than BS1, for instance, and there is a greater sense of bleakness, even if BS1 might have an in-universe excuse for both of those points.

there is a rau section with the third eye hunt (眼狩り三回目) section

it says 眼狩りできていない場合 (if the eye hunt could not be completed) WHAT does that mean WHY didnt JPbro elaborate...
And I am not alone in this there are a bunch of comments who dont understand how to do it either

I've reached the true ending, but I still have questions.

I still don’t understand what the password is for the orphanage.

Whether it’s even possible to talk to an NPC (like a village girl) before the epilogue, during the cycle?

Is there a guide to meeting all the assaulters and secret bosses?

Is the event hinting at a continuation still just a hint?

So it's probably cause I got my first ending late at night while sleep deprived but who the hell is Rhys again? I keep seeing flags of beating this boss after certain events in order to get other endings but the name just completely escapes me on to who that is haha.

The creator just posted on their ci-en page.
The DLC is still being worked on but he seems to be running into problems concerning the Rpgmaker engine.
If anyone here knows how to help him, please tell him

Man, that's fantastic news. Not that he's having trouble lol. That he's still working on it. Hopefully they manage to resolve the issue sooner rather than later.
