Anyone else starting to view 1080p as outdated? I'm beginning to find that looking at regular 1080p videos gives me the same feelings as when I started to realize 720p was pretty poor quality, compared to when it used to be considered high definition. How long until 1080p is no longer considered High Definition. Or is it just that we watch too much porn and most people will continue be satisfied with 1080p anyway.

depends. i bet the difference wouldn't be too noticeable on a phone-sized 4k display. it's all about the physical size. 1080p is the sweet spot for phones imo. 4k is overkill unless it's viewed on at least a tablet-sized 4k display.
What? You watch 1080 on...phone? Is it even necessary? I can't even tell the different of 720 and 1080 on phone.

You can usually tell the difference, mostly because of the bitrate, some 4K videos look much better on my 1080P monitor because they have higher bitrates.

I always thought 4K was better than 1080p. But even recently, I just want for the option of 1080p over 4K just to save storage for more potential hot sauce I find throughout the Internet. Additionally, for example Nagoo's Tifa animations, the differences between 1080p and 4K is really slim, the only physical differences being the quality of wet spots on bodies and light projecting at said wet bodies making the wet-ness more noticeable lol. Unless the video is real hot imo, I'm going to go for downloading the 1080p versions most of the time. That's just my take on the predicament though.

For me when watching various qualities of different SFM artists, including Nagoo, in my eyes, there are noticeable differences between 720p and 1080p, as opposed to comparing 1080p and 4K.
Try the Pornhub site, a lot of humans there.
