A debate over the ethics of piracy. One side said it was stealing and no one here can really say anything regarding how it is done, the other side said that it allowed them to play the game and support the creator in other ways. I will not state my personal opinion on it, but that's the gist of the argument. Y'know, besides the ad hominem.

On the topic of the missing gallery spot, the ini file that you can use to unlock the gallery mentions a slime. I am guessing this is what will be added in a future update in that gallery spot.

Was honestly thinking that too, cuz i saw the same slimegirl input in the file. But yh we just have to wait and see

Me personally, I played it first because I couldn't afford it, then I joined his patreon right out! ^^ I support creators of good content! I understand supporting hack creators. It happens a lot with abandoned projects! But when something looks promising, I'm all there!

exactly. i can't tell you how many games i've pirated only to eventually go back and become an avid supporter and active participant in the game's community. i have medical problems AND am embroiled in a legal conflict with a mega-corporation, meaning i have less than zero money to spare and that probably won't change for another 5-10 years. this is the only way i can support creators right now, and i'll defend this way of experiencing art ferociously as a result. poor people deserve to have art too

It's always a funny topic because piracy gets a bad rap from some people, but without it - and this website - I'd never have discovered all these fantastic creators who I choose to support financially. And without being able to test the games first, it'd be tough to have the confidence to know whether to do so.

Thanks to threads like this, I have a keen eye on projects and become a buyer for when devs release the completed game.

Without piracy, I and many other potential buyers wouldn't be there.

Just checked, they're 100% right. I think the file structure is just really weird, or the actual data that the game uses to determine your progress is not in the save file, but elsewhere.

I had a similar issue, but a bit worse. I got a TASTE of the 2nd phase, then the game crashed on me.

To say I am sad would be an understatement.

Your gallery is saved in your personal ini file that the game generates.

gzdoom-name.ini

This should have most of the gallery unlocked.

edit: replaced zip with a more complete save though gargoyle is still bugged and there is one empty slot where I assume nakara servant would be?
