Mana Storage is one of the random Buffs you can find in the labyrinths.
There is no guarantee you get what you want tho so either you pray and get lucky or use the console to spawn one once you enter a labyrinth. (sanctuary resets them when you leave it)
Once your sword fills up it wont activate and gets stored as a charge that you can activate at any time using mouse3 (middle mouse button) to use the sword.
E is to use the intermission stage Buff item in that pool where you go for magnet instead of the other 2 because they are shit.
Once you obtain that it acts like the ring grab but on steroids.
Great for areas like Path of Believe, Dark Forest and Forbidden Desert.

Unless I accidentally killed everything while running past them, which I find unlikely, then yes.
Can confirm everyone in this thread is correct, just need to get good and run to the end. unfortionately i get hit a lot running through that ending corridor, i lose like 4 out of 5 hearts ; need to do better, not sure why i keep getting hit so much in that end run.

Remember that you can use your sword constantly in that segment, so be sure to kill whatever's in your way, especially the Lamias. Don't go out of your way to kill them, but if you're close enough, pick a few off so you don't have to worry about their projectiles.

It's not a Doom-style 1st person slasher, it's quite literally running on a Doom source port :ROFLMAO:

Releasing this game on Steam was always going to be a long shot.

The dev also mentioned that he's leaving Twitter due a NSFW crackdown there.

Castle of Temptation was not hard for the most part except for that one Chapel parkour and boss part. Never before or after have I gotten so mad at a porn game that I unlocked Ultra Instict to beat it.
wholeheartedly, FUCK the chapel boss. genuine fucking horseshit fight, especially the ending segment. what do you mean nearly impossbile to dodge, homing instant grab attack that also vaporizes your only line of defense for the rest of the fight (ONLY FIGHT IN THE GAME THAT DELETES YOUR CLOAK WHEN IT HITS YOU BTW)

On a difficulty buff:

I don't have very much experience with GZdoom games. But I thought to give this a shot.

After looking through the files for a bit, I was pointed to an object called "Warpportal" in order to control the enemy spawn rate.

There is a file called warpportal.zsc, but all it does is check if the player is nearby (within the room), and, if yes, trigger this script: "roguemapTeleportstarter"

Unfortunately, it looks like the game logic, including the handling for "roguemapTeleportstarter" , is in the "Behavior" acs for "map01"

this acs is complied. there is no way to decompile modern acs.

other notes:

the entire game is 2 maps. 1 being the "sancturary room", and the other being one huge room called "map01".

i havent attempted to de-comp the game itself, but having flown around with cheats, yeah the map is a mess lol

Might be stupid but what are you supposed to do after you get to the part of the final boss where you go through a portal? Every time I go through, the game instakills me.

That's the Ending. The game doesn't have any other endings in it's current version.

Hello,

For those wondering about a difficulty buff.

I wasn't able to modify map logic. But I was able to modify monster behavior.

As such, I modified the monster behavior to be more difficult, and made some of the more irritating ones more fun.
(or, at least, I tried to. Keep in mind this is one of my first times working with gzdoom, please.)

Below, you'll find a mega link containing a ipk3 file. To run it, you will need to remove Nakara's original ipk3 from the folder, and insert the new one. It should be called "Nk.ipk3". Then, run the game using the "gzdoom.exe" (I'm somewhat new to this site, am I okay to do that?)

To know the game has been updated, look at the flickering star used for the credits. If its corrupted/red, then the mod is activated.

I'll also include a list of the changes I made, although I reccomend not to look at it if you want to have more fun.

Also, I did not edit the Nakara Boss Fight.

So I tried your mod but I think you made the game basically unbeatable.
Normally when slashing an enemy with the sword they lose their hitbox and you can walk right through them but with your mod the enemies keep blocking your path and their despawn timer seems to reset everytime you hit them.
Combined with enemies being faster and some even multiplying, you're almost guaranteed to get body blocked, swinging your sword into an ever-growing swarm of enemies, unable to move until your sword runs out and then you die.

Also in the swamp I was running on dry ground at full speed and still got hit by swamp monsters.
The wererabbit is completely unneccessary since even moving constantly you are never safe with how big the swamp monsters reach is.

I haven't tested every level yet since it's pretty demoralizing how impossible all of this feels

does someone have a full save with all the gallry unlocked? i am trying to unlock the tentacle last defeat event but its too difficult since there are lots of thing that kills you. and also trying to unlock one last monster that i can't find

1. You need to die to the tentacle at the start of the stage to make it the most easiest. (iirc it is a 1 hit so just stand still until it shows up)
2. if you mean the second row empty terrarium with one empty that is just a left over copy-past since every update they just add a full row of empty ones regardless of if they are gonna end up being filled.
Maybe in the future there will be a new character, maybe not, but for now there will be only one empty one.
