It's all pirate sites.
I am, however, surprised people don't talk much about the plot, I would say there's plenty to talk and ask about.

In some parts your game is pretty unapologetically a harem game with a gigachad MC. Many people on here claim that this is the recipe for success on Patreon, so I'm surprised how the announcement of the new update flew completely under the radar. Add to this the fresh and interesting plot, which offers a lot to talk about, as you said, and it's weird how the announcement didn't generate at least a few comments.
Maybe you should add a sandbox section out of nowhere to get some drama and buzz. Might be worth it for the exposure.

This game takes some tastes to be aquired in order to enjoy.
The whole debacle in the very begining coupled with the constant
dreams/nightmeares and all the overvhelming future tech crunched into it,
might be that some more couples of reruns are needed to acquire such taste.

Paying attention is the bare minimum requierement and as proven by some reviews, it's not always met

Majority of the players on pirate sites don't even check the link to the creators campaign, that's a problem in it's own right

As for the sandbox, Triangle is meant to be enjoyable

Someone born in the 80's, lived through the 90's or at least versed in the pop-culture of that period will definitly appreciate the game more than someone who just turned 18, no question about it.
I would say the tech is presented as simple as it can be and as for the other technology, it's just as mysterious and alien for the characters as it is for the audience. This way we discover it along with the characters.
