However, this is one of those cases where the old adage, "Never Let the Truth Get in the Way of a Good Story" applies.

there was a 7th grade English teacher in my middle school who had a beautiful antique Bentley. He also always wore bowling shoes for some reason. Rumor was that he came from money, but then again the more popular rumor was that he was fucking his first cousin who was one of the math teachers, so who knows? Other than that, all my teachers and most of my college professors drove used P.O.S. cars that cost less than a Rolls Royce hood ornament does on eBay.)
