And what exactly is your point? That it's possible to release a fully finished game from-zero-to-completed in just a year or so and the only reason why all these scammy devs aren't doing that is their laziness/greed? Again, have you actually tried yourself at gamemaking or you're just voicing an opinion of a couch expert? As many issues this game has, being a "milking product" is definitely not one of them - from the very beginning it had a stable release schedule of 1 release-per-month and it'll be finished in 4 years after the initial release.
And now let's see how much a single-player AAA game costs without skins. $70 for the standard edition, ~ $150 for the premium, $300-1500 for a physical limited edition with tons of merch, figurines, physical game models, etc. Now look at how much Indie developers ask for their games, which require a one-time payment: $5-40, and it doesn't even matter if they are finished or still in development, because after purchase they are updated for free. Now calculate how much a Patron pays for a monthly subscription to a game that has been in development for 5 years, and what they get for it. The person you quoted was a Patron of this developer but thought he weren’t getting enough for his money, so he decided to unsubscribe. What kind of complaint could you possibly have against him for that?

Well, first of all, congratulations to you for picking up a conversation that was finished 6 months ago, I'm sure it was really necessary.
Secondly, it'd be nice if you'd actually took the time to read that whole discussion. My initial response was to the
Ah yes, you can show faith in your second hole. How long was the game out for? - the answer is never.

I will just remind you that 0.2 was 2022. Feel free to throw your money to a farming developer, i will support more motivated developers.

Smh, if you don't see this then maybe you can support them more? drop them 50k and let's see how long it takes them to actually do a game.

Maybe i should do the same, make sexy farming porn game and just release some stuff every 6 months for 500k
comment. The point of that comment was literally "It's been 3 years and you still hasn't finished yor game! You are milker! Anyone can do better, even me!". My response was simply pointing at the naive idealism of such a view.
Finally, your marvelous logic of "subscription=overpaying milking" can be applied to EVERY single game on ANY sub-platform. That's an issue of the entire idea of sub-crowdfunding, rather than specific developers. I'm not sure how running around and randomly pointing fingers helps.

As last time, you missed my point as well: everyone decides for themselves whether to support any developer with their money or not (especially since it "requires more gold" than buying a game instead of a subscription, but thanks to this, many developers later provide their game for free to the masses). And if a person who supported a developer with their money later stopped and explained their opinion, they have every right to do so, even if you personally do not like that opinion.

What does 0.39 “free” mean? I know it means free but what’s the difference is there a paid version with more content?
probably yes, sometimes dev will put patron exclusive content to their patrons, sometimes the next free version includes the former version's patron exclusive content though, but most games are made that way.
