Naah man, you ain't missing anything, I got rig big enough to argue with rendering farms and stand its ground, enough ram to constitute a small company's main server and the Cpu with ludicrous number of cores...
and I get peak 60, 24 if there are more than 10 units on ground, and 10 during the final battle.
At least they removed the chicken.
Have you heard of the game crashing chicken? also known as million polygon chicken? CPU-Z's stress test seemed like a vacation when that thing appeared in game.

The low FPS has been a problem since the beginning and it has never been completely solved, only partially improved.
Yeah, that's a Japanese-developed PC game for you. They're all like this. Code documentation in the Japanese language is almost non-existent in most cases. So, they usually just have to wing it. Which gets exponentially worse the smaller the dev is.
Capcom and Idea Factory are like the only ones that bothered truly figuring it out on their own. So, their PC ports are generally actually good. They're the exception.

4 the FPS problem, the game is made in Unity with either purchased or stolen models because the npc enemy models and etc does not match or at least look sumwat coherent with the art style of the player character or the very sussed vrm models LUL. >w>
I would rather play on a game dat uses low poly like the one in VRC. ^w^
Models are simple, UR CPU and GPU don't sound like a JET TURBINE spooling up 4 a take off, the art style in general just looks mar coherent, and the models are between ugly and great. :3

The only way i found this playable is with frame generation in Lossless Scaling.
While there'll be a lot of artifacts here and there, it'll be somewhat smooth experience.
For now I found most optimal generation is up to 30 FPS, which create good balance between smoothness and artifacts.
And of course, the better your rig, the less artifacts from generation there'll be

Another good way 2 increase fps is turning down resolution of game (bare minimum being 720P any lower and UR considered a PATATO PC dat should be either upgraded or thrown away and replaced with a mar modern one). :3
I play my games at 1080P and my screen is locked at 1080P even though its supports 2K. >w>
And Nvidia Control panel could help 2. :3

There is a new article about Version 1.40. Its only an optimization update (which is a good thing for most of us), and there is also info on the currently planned content for the upcoming DLC. Honestly I'm really excited about the DLC.

- Looking over their latest post, it seems he's adding an another set of girls that'll crash-land once you collect 15 parts (They recived a distress beacon but fucked up their landing). They'll be captured and be part of enemy, but you can save them, they'll be part of the final wave if you don't. At the same, he's adding a "crucifixion" system for the girls. Once they join the other side, their friendship value can go lower and once that occurs, they'll be crucified by the tribals. Probably a sex thing where they are tied up to a post to get fucked.At the same, he's adding a new male enemy type alongside a female one. One called an Alpha male (Using deepseek for this) and a Shaman. IDK what the Alpha male would bring, maybe a tribal chief for a camp, and keeps the girls to himself and for the Shaman, she'll hypnotize female units to fuck male ones or force lesbian sex, so good shit.
Also a bad ending and for captured units, they'll get tribal tattoos over time, so whoever was complaining about the lack of that stuff earlier in this thread, you're getting some stuff.
I mean Its in the article, but some of the planned content include: New enemies, new allies, possibly bad ending, new animations etc.
The Dev will continue working on his new game, while also making the DLC for Nekotto (hence why It will take some time to finish the DLC). I only translated the article with Google, so It might not be accurate, but Dev wants to finish the DLC in about 6 months.
