Both - i mean they're separate things. 9.1 is the final version of game, then the "farewell version" is just a few one -off or otherwise unfinished scenes.

Just to give a different perspective on this, the fact it's more interactive than a visual novel is what I like most about it.

Fair enough, I have seen some Sandbox actually work really well. It's just that in 80% of the time (in my experience) it hasn't.

A few months ago, there was somebody taking down NTR games from Patreon by mass-reporting them. Trolling the developers, spamming their Discords, harassing players. The usual.

Finally, somebody got angry enough to dox them. Mind you, I don't think anyone should be doxed, ever. But I looked at who he was, and his determination to prove to online strangers how tough he was, and it all made sense.

Wheelchair-bound. Stuck behind his computer. Likely in some low-income area of the United States. He'd posted vlogs about a day in the life as someone with a degenerative muscle disease--the videos had less than ten views.

After that, I realized that's what those people crave the most: attention. Some sort of reaction from anyone.

So when we see their comments, we should pity them, say nothing, and move on. Ultimately their visceral hate for netorare is because it isn't a hot fantasy to them; they have experienced it their entire lives. The chair in the corner of the room is behind their computer, and life itself has cucked them.

Damn that's unfortunate. If only that guy knew that, you don't have to pretend to be the cuck MC when you can just pretend you're the bull.

I understand the predicament of justice--maybe we're letting them get away with it, maybe not. It certainly feels good to tell them to eat shit. But the reason I prefer to ignore them is because doing so helps the people that actually matter: the normal people who are just here to play sexy games.

Every time we respond to these trolls, we spread their messaging, until an average player enters the thread and sees the community is consumed by this toxic debate. Personally, I prefer to amplify genuine concerns or criticisms by responding to those ones.

Anyways, enough of that rant, is there any chance you're available to proofread my new project?

A respectable stance. I think these type of people should be at least be ridiculed. There is an army of bastards out there just waiting to ruin something just cause they dont like it. And maybe it wont stop them but I think the fear of mockery will stop some of them and think twice about wanting that type of heat.

Because the dev has moved on to other projects. There will be no future updates and the game is not finished, it can only be considered abandoned.

Yeah, that was me. It feels like forever ago. Good times. I remember breaking the shit out of that game engine to try and get it to tell stories and gameplay it clearly wasn't designed for. Finally I left to find an engine a little more flexible to my ideas.
