Huge cope lol. The amount of visibility it has is due to pirates. I'm not telling that advertising here is not working, but a lot of devs tend to come here to literally have ownership over game's thread and gatekeep leakage of their paywalled content. But still the guys like the leaker above usually called heroes here and they receive way better treatment, now why do you think it happens?? It's just that this one was overaggressive for no reason, but still it's delusional to think that this platform is legit like itch.io.
You are right, however I never said this is a legit platform at any point. I might have gotten sidetracked or expressed myself in the wrong way.

My main point is, there is no need to be aggressive when a dev ask to hold on the leaking for a little bit.

PS: I also noticed after a quick reading that people were commenting on politics, please let's avoid touching such topics in the forum, politics and games shouldn't and must never be related to each other, nothing good ever comes out from it.

I wasn't planning to make another reply, but I felt obliged to do it and answer some questions.

1. I am a software, kernel and game developer. I am very well aware of the business, how piracy affects developers, etc...
2. I went aggressive as the thread is controlled by the developer of the game, and as others have stated everyone that comes to this platform are expected to pirate games.
3. Pokey21 Nope, I got exactly what I wanted as of result.
4. Vathris Life, the suic*** attempts didn't help.

When it comes to piracy, I think of it as a way for people to experience the game before deciding whether to support the developers or not, something most of us want to do when we see some new shiny... lets say AAA game release, you'd feel ripped off if the game turned out to be something that you don't enjoy at all (There are refunds but it has limits and can be messy). Just to add more on that, some people may not have the money at that given time, and after some amount of time if they loved the experience and keep coming back to it, meaning its a good game, its very likely they will support the developer when they have some money to spare, especially if there are benefits that you wouldn't otherwise have from a pirated version of the game, such as steam cloud, steam achievements, steam workshop, multiplayer, etc...

This is what rubbed me the wrong way, I keep seeing people use platforms like Patreon to hold the content back from people that want to experience the latest version of the game before supporting the developer. This is when you go to pirating websites like I**GAMES only to see... THIS, a game thread on the site you pirate games on to be controlled by the developer the same way as on the platform the game is published on, in this case Itch.io
I sometimes see people locking the game entirely behind Patreon or other platform, instead of you buying the game once for a price and owning it with its future updates, you are forced to pay for the game MONTHLY instead and that is disgusting.
I have never used this monetization model and never will.

For my last words, I just want to say that this community is great and I am happy to finally break silence here, I did this for the people that were waiting for weeks and just didn't get what they came for until I showed up.
pachipoi I think your game is great and has a lot of potential, there is a reason why I have my eye on this game and I am very picky when it comes to games I enjoy, I support you but I hope you let people pirate your game on this platform for reasons above, you can put a disclaimer in the game that "If you enjoy the game, please consider supporting me on XXX" and putting the game on Steam is a very good choice.

I agree with a lot of what you said in this one and what also rubbed people the wrong way is how you addressed it in your previous post, you were a bit too salty. But well since you've made yourself more clear this time it's understandable.

However for the platform is a bit tricky.
Patreon - If it comes to know of incest it will request the dev to completely remove it from the game.
Dev would need to release an TrueStory patch elsewhere.
Steam - Will do the same if not worse. They will complain about rape, incest, and other possible issues.
Subscribestar - Similar to Patreon but without a lot of the restrictions and less known.

I'm not too invested in the whole debate regarding whether uploading stuff here against the dev's wishes is right or not, and I don't have any intention of trying to promote some moral high ground.
That being said, I think some of the things you said are a bit unfair.

lets say AAA game lets say get released, you'd feel ripped off if the game turned out to be something that you don't enjoy at all
Almost all regular games require you to pay before playing period. Devs, including this one, who are making money from systems like Patreon, Subscribestar, etc almost always release their game for free after a delay. You can't possibly be getting ripped off for something that's being offered for free. That's like going to a restaurant that gives away leftovers for free and saying you're getting ripped off because they serve paying customers first.

Just to add more on that, some people may not have the money for this at that given time, and after some amount of time if they loved the experience and they keep coming back to it, meaning its a good game, its very likely they will support the developer when they have some money to spare, especially if there are benefits that you wouldn't otherwise have from a pirated version of the game, such as steam cloud, steam achievements, steam workshop, multiplayer, etc...
I won't disagree with that, but I also don't see why those people are being wronged somehow for having to wait an extra 2 weeks to play the game. More to the point, you yourself mention that people are more likely to support the game when they have money "if there are benefits that you wouldn't otherwise have from a pirated version of the game". Releasing the game early for supporters is literally a benefit for people who aren't getting the game for free. Sure, it's not an in-game benefit, but would you really prefer the dev releasing a shittier version of the game here for free and a better paid version elsewhere, rather than just delaying the free release? That's how you get versions of the game with mosaics and half the content locked.

This is what rubbed me the wrong way, I keep seeing people use platforms like Patreon to hold the content back from people that want to experience latest version of the game before supporting the developer
In this case it's only being held back for 2 weeks. Of course the dev would want to give some benefit to people who are already supporting them, and to try and incentivize new people to support. There's nothing stopping anyone from waiting a bit and playing that brand new release.

I'm kind of addressing this segment broadly, so I might have missed some points, but here goes:
Why wouldn't they want to try and convince people not to release it early? The dev is losing money on something they invested their time in, to try and make money. Naturally they would want to try and stop that. I'm pretty sure most of the devs here on this site aren't making porn games because it's their life's passion to make porn or because they have some great calling to create charity porn for the world. That's not being greedy, that's just wanting to benefit from your own work. That's literally like the basic premise by which society works. Also, the way the Patreon model works, most content is locked behind a specific tier that costs a certain price per month. There's literally nothing stopping you from stopping a subscription if you think the dev is taking too long and only resubscribing after they've released content for that tier if you feel like their work pace isn't deserving of the monthly pricing model. Half the point of Patreon and similar sites is to give a chance for people to support projects that they think have potential, and for devs to reciprocate that support in some manner. It's not that non-supporters are getting content 2 weeks delayed as some kind of punishment, it's that supporters are getting content 2 weeks early as a benefit of supporting.

I'm not saying all this to call you out for sharing the game early. As you said, sharing stuff is literally the whole point of this site. That said, I do think you were being needlessly aggressive with the dev for doing what's basically common sense for any dev to do. Dev's aren't greedy for wanting to make money for their work. Of course none of us are actually obligated to support a dev who's trying to milk us by promising something and not delivering, but if anyone's stupid enough to keep supporting a dev that's not actually making progress, then that's on them.

Edit: A bit of a side note, but I think if you actually like a project and want to see more of it; it's important to not just consider what a game's worth is to you, but whether it's worth continuing the project for the dev. Being so quick to disregard a dev as being greedy and purely dismissing their feelings seems like a good way to make them feel like a project isn't worth doing. Especially if they aren't even making much off it in the first place, and it's already a half hobby project.

Dev wasn't controlling anything. They politely asked that people hold off for like two weeks to pirate the game so they could take advantage of the initial release. Most people in the thread seemed to understand and respected that, so they were fine with waiting up to two weeks. You're acting like they did something horrible or overbearing.

save feature is planned for v0.05!

they're no longer applying tos changes retroactively so we're good :3
We assume they aren't. Slimy companies seem to be good for sneaking in changes later after the heats died down in recent years.

I beleive your likely going to implement mindbreak when you impliment them able to wake up while you are 'enjoying' yourself. but based on the habits of the female, i can state its unlikely they take pills or have an iud and this mc just keeps cumming inside over and over... this would be a good game for the player to 'accidentally' knock up the female. Especially makes it better if she suddenly learned she was pregnant and was still unaware of player taking her.

I remember playing a game like this ages ago except it wasn't your sister staying over, it was your mom's friend's daughter, it also was nowhere near as consensual as this game is.

I think I preferred that scenario over this one albeit with the taboo involving the whole sister angle. I find the situation too accepting if you know what I mean. I find it hot when there's reluctance and struggle to get what I want, a degree of sneakiness, there's no feeling of danger or sensitivity, you can throw the blanket back. I can see a lot of people liking the proactivity from the imouto though.

Love the art and the animations.

u'll be able to take different approaches to the whole thing. right now i'm more focusing on the consensual (i guess?) side of affairs, i'll take care of more dubious methods in later updates!
