Good new one ! HanakoXVN
I feel this sci-fi violent style game is more suitable for you.
That was closer to life previous game could not fully demonstrate your style.
But you have to be careful with Patreon, that website is now blocking a lot of content involving violence.

PS: breed and pregnant belly the finishing touch. (y) (y)

Ayo dev, the variable "bbsex" is not assigned a value at all during the first scene with Barbie. First check of the variable is in the interaction with Maggie, where if bbsex is set to true, the MC comments on the scanner not picking up Barbie's piercing. Might want to add a line in the script way back in the Barbie scene. Otherwise, fantastic job on the game, I really like it!

Time for my dump:

1754420293061.png

Given the information provided in AR1 & AR2 as well as the new info in NHs, I present the HANAKOXVNverse Timeline:

Before 24
- The First Corporate War Occurred
- Violet Lawrence is Born (does anyone know the date of her birth or how old she is in AR1?)
- Valerie Lawrence is Born in 2014

2024
- Events of Actual Roommates 1 Occur

2026
- Valerie Lawrence is adopted by Violet Lawrence

2032
- Events of Actual Roommates 2 Occur

Sometime after 2032
- A Nuclear war occured
- Valerie Lawrence probably adopted someone
- said adopted girl either gave birth or adopted two girls then named them Veronica and Vanessa Lawrence
- Veronica loses her memories

(Can anyone let me know the date of Neon hearts?)
- Events of Neon Heart Occur

PS. might as well catalogue and update this shit every update i guess XD, i'll be that guy.

I see what you did there Hanako XD

NGL, I wouldn't mind if Hanako makes a future game about the game inside AR1,AR2 and HN.

Lastly, considering AR1 and AR2 have Spoon and the fucking orange cat of chaos who's probably worshipping an eldritch entity, will Neon Hearts eventually get an animal cat companion?

Is this the same universe as AR? Then it's a shame that the world in AR turned into such a piece of shit (I'm not talking about NH, the game is good, I'm talking about the world in the game).

it might well be, as a few posts up from this there is a potential timeline of events, until HanakoXVN comfirms this, then it`s up for debate

AR1 and AR2 are set in a world already dominated by powerful corporations, locked in ruthless competition, often resorting to violence and using agents to do their bidding, entities that pretty much control everything, operating with broad autonomy and seemingly above the law. That kind of setup is common in cyberpunk stories, so to me, it feels more like a natural continuation than a major shift.

Neon Heart doesn't reinvent that world, it builds on it, pushing things further in a way that, IMO, comes across as the logical next step in the evolution of what the other games established. Moreover, a cyberpunk setting is very often, if not consistently, associated with a hard sci-fi and dystopian world. So the way this game's universe is described comes as no surprise, it fits that genre perfectly.

It makes sense that the three games in the Hanako-verse are linked both thematically and chronologically. While some details might have seemed like simple nods to the others, the abundance of shared lore and narrative references leaves little doubt. The fall of the Fujikawa corporation in 2024 (AR1) is explicitly mentioned in Neon Heart. We also find references to the Lawrence family, grandmother Valerie, and their place of residence in New Amsterdam.

From the conversation between Shizuku and Vanessa in Neon Heart, we learn that the fall of the Fujikawa Corporation indeed happened in 2024 (AR1). It’s also mentioned that this event took place about 60 years before the game’s current timeline, so we can infer that Neon Heart is set around 2084 (2024+60 = 2084), or slightly later. The only other precise time reference given in the game is 2046, associated with an old databank, an FSB 9.

The game mentions a nuclear strike at the lab where the MC was, not explicitly a full nuclear war ("third corpo war"), though that remains possible. MC says she hasn’t had any flashbacks of the trauma in seven years. Can we then assume that event happened seven years ago? If so, that places it around 2077 or thereabouts (2084 - 7 = 2077. Feels like an intented reference ;)). The lab assault and this Third Corporate War are probably connected in terms of timing.

But AR is not cyberpunk, and I did not notice constant cruelty and deaths there.
The confrontation of corporations breaking the law is a common theme in many genres, in cyberpunk the difference is that corporations are also the government in fact.
