For me she could never be a li unless there was a choice added to prevent her from fucking boss. It will never happen. My initial idea is that after a certain incident happened in episode 1, the mc realizes that there are no honest ways to survive in Vesper City, and if you want to actually live, you will have to climb to the top, any means necessary. NTRS or swinging just means the MC could use some means to control some women he encountered to extract information from them, from let's say their husbands. That's just one example. But no, they are completely optional for some players who prefer this route and the MC has others ways as well. If you played the game you could see that I give logical reasoning to MC's choices and it wouldn't feel forced in any way.
And optional scenes would not just be one choice but will have a meter to see if the player was interested in choosing this route early on and if not it would not even show up as choices.

You had the option to do this in the café scene. It makes much more sense to a harem reader than controlling women and extracting information from their husbands and having NTR, even if its optional. The scenario you seem to be presenting doesn't really make sense to a harem reader, mixed with the NTR and prostitutes, suggests you're going to be a pimp with a stable rather than a true harem route.

Can we also have a text box opacity option to remove it in the prefs in the next update?

Each to their own but I completely disagree. A pimp is a criminal (in most countries where prostitution is illegal) who exploits women to make money out of them often keeping them under control with threats, violence or death, something I took the dev was suggesting was possible in his comment "you will have to climb to the top, any means necessary. NTRS or swinging just means the MC could use some means to control some women he encountered to extract information from them, from let's say their husbands." A harem is just someone who is in a sexual relationship with multiple women with no controlling, threat, violence or death implied although I admit, it is possible. Definition 3 in each of these is what I was intending in my post.

You will, however, force to do things that might be unethical to climb to the top. Because such is the truth about Vesper City. Money decides, and loyalty costs. Until you are on top, you are either with the system, or fighting against the system to result in your early death.
That would be what I considered harem. You won't be making every woman your woman if you are a lowly office worker. No one's is going to think "I am fucking him and him only even though he has so many other women" to an ordinary man. Now if he's rich, and powerful, and has a charming personality, then it's different, the story is more logical this way.
Note that I will still be writing sex scenes not related to the MC in the future, 1) is because I think it greatly frees up a lot of narrative roadblock. It'd be more logical to write a sex scene with a husband and wife, then MC with someone he met literally 10 minutes ago, even if the wife will eventually cuck their husband and become MC's woman. I can promise you that when the hypothetical woman does become MC's girlfriend you'll have the choice that they won't be with anyone else.

Ok, thanks for explaining, it doesn't sound like my kind of story. Money and power don't motivate me and I have have no desire for women who are attracted to those things, so its an early death here. Genuinely good luck with your story, I really like the idea of the MC's job, where I think you could help people going through a difficult time of their lives and make it better. You are correct, one of the "bad" ending does have the MC doing so. Though I am not so sure if that's a bad ending anymore compared to what he needs to be done to survive in the city...

I'll go ahead and say this, You might as well make this full on NTR game because anybody that dislikes NTR or the Swinging Genre will not like seeing their women banging someone else Even if it's before they met the MC. There really is only to sides to NTR Either you love it or you hate anything that is remotely connected to it. So i say this if your making it avoidable you need to make it completely avoidable Vibes and all and remove future sex scenes of Li doing it with other people. And no i'm not demanding you to change your story for me or what ever. I'm just giving advice that might save you some time down the road. By the way, To the Dev if this is what you truly want then do it the way you want, this is your game. But your Non NTR route still having future Li having sex with someone else, is not something anybody going to play on a non NTR route, we take the Non NTR route to avoid stuff like future or current Li from having sex with other people.
