Bottom line is ... devs having to give up games alltogether for having topped their skills have a new tool to make them chug on for a couple more updates. Filling the gaps they lack in visual arts is the right way to use AI and keeping devs into gaming is another wonderful backhanded result of AI overload.I dont know why games are starting to use them
In theory all true but in actuallity no because like I said they look awful. Zero animationss is waaaaay better then these.Devs know it allows them to put out faster animations or even any animation at all, as opposed to past years where their skills were making their morphs nightmeare fuel and they would scrap everything alltogether.
We got a number of devs coming out and telling it is the way they could sustain better quality updates in a reasonable time, while one dev botched the whole game ending because their animation skills were subpar and other devs outright admitted it either made their games goofy enough to get on Steam and look presentable, or be too life like to be accepted to Steam.
