Now that I'm at the end of the pirate arc, my opinion hasn't really changed. Pearl is subjectively more attractive than Kira though that isn't really any sort of criteria the MC would use, especially when it comes to his rage issues anytime Eliza is fucked with.
I guess I just expected him to intimidate her, threaten her, do something, even if in the end it's all bark. She's not even gone 30 seconds before he's all "she's my friend" don't worry. It's less than a month after Selena's betrayal and here he is, learning absolutely nothing. By the end of this he should come away with major trust issues.
That said, I still enjoy the story. It's not at the same caliber as the earlier chapters, the MC just seems inconsistent.

I kinda just supress the pirate arc lmao, it think it was by far the worst part of the avn but quite some people liked it so i dont know.
Tbf it was kinda on Dalen too, he was the one suggesting the pirates to the mc just for the mc to get betrayed by everyone on the ship but kelly
I like Dalen but he dont really has a clue about the mc's strength and every other guy would be dead with the mission dalen gave the mc, no wonder the whole guild is dead before the mcs arrival
And Dalen is all like: "Yyyeeaaaahhh, its because of ... taron ... that were fucked. yeah. 100%, couldnt be anything else like .. really bad leadership
Similar when they rescued the princess in the last version, why the fuck does he assign him and bori to rescue the princess while Eliza is apparently just chilling

Eliza's absence is easily explained - those five gold pieces won't spend themselves!
But what? The only thing which comes to mind which could have been useful would have been to maybe keep an eye on the rich guy and his son who ordered the kidnapping ... but i doubt it. She was guarding the guild ....
Whatever i dont want to nitpick too much, i love nephilim but sometimes things are a bit nonsensical

I assume you are talking about Selena the stable girl. If you don't kill her sister Eliza will let her life later.
