A little bit flattering and also a little bit creepy that you take the time to note everything I say. Also partly wrong but I'll leave you to your hobby.1. Go scorched earth for Eliza.
2. Join the bad side if it helps Eliza.
3. Refuse to play updates if MC travels without Eliza.
4. Ever other LI should die or be killed.
5. Sylph is OK because she helped Eliza.
6. Want to leave everyone and live somewhere peaceful with Eliza.
7. Tell no one where it is.
8. Anna can come and be our milkmaid (but no sex).
9. Lucid is my second favorite.
10. The Pirate girls must die for their betrayal / theft.
You two are so in sync with each other you must be twins or something?
I can't lie, you fooled me too. I thought you and Trix agreed on most things in Nephilim.A little bit flattering and also a little bit creepy that you take the time to note everything I say. Also partly wrong but I'll leave you to your hobby.
it's not hard to notice actually. When over the last few weeks you and Trix has been saying the same things on repeat almost like you are the same person. I even felt this way , I just never said shit to see if my guess was rightA little bit flattering and also a little bit creepy that you take the time to note everything I say. All great points. MC is a very reactive hero but a poor proactive one. The ship thing with Pearl in the latest update confused me because they were given a ship that would need a full crew and I think it was only so that Buu could re-use the Pearl sitting on the side of the boat render we've seen countless times. This story is has an interesting concept behind it and the early chapters were good but I don't really get it now. The MC just seems to run from place to place doing whatever anyone asks him to, without question or complaint and all the (many, many lis) all seem to have basically the same personality. They all seem like fairly generic lovestruck teenagers whose main difference is they want to be different things when they grow up. Eliza is a little better, she at least has some colour at this point because of her parents and being a vampire etc. But the rest, even if the story says they're older and more experienced don't act like it. Pearl and Kira, for example, don't act like they are used to command, and the fairy ... sylph? doesn't act like she's been around and seen a lot. Maybe it's just me. Oh and what kind of sailing ship can operate with only two people on board??
I don't know. It started out strong but it feels like the dev lost interest, or changed his mind and wants to tell a story about pirates instead or ... something. All great points. I definitely don't think the dev lost interest. The big problem seems to be it going in a direction that a lot of the people here aren't sure about or vehemently disagree with. I don't know Buu's Patreon situation, if they feel similar, or what, but updates are pretty frequent and it's definitely trying to tell some kind of story. That said, I'm just pirating this so my opinion isn't exactly worth much.I don't know. Yeah, me too but with so many devs that need support it seems kinda silly to start supporting something in the hope that the dev will change direction. I just don't understand what happened between the early chapters, which were mostly really solid, and now.I definitely don't think the dev lost interest. I'd be happy to read a story just about Eliza. I'm not interested in the pirates much, but that is just me, I'm not BUU. I have followed a lot of VNs where the dev just went with the crowd and everyone of them has ended up abandoned. BUU has a story to tell and he is sticking to it, so I'm I'm willing to give him leeway to get where he wants to go with his story.Yeah, me too but with so many devs that need support it seems kinda silly to start supporting something in the hope that the dev will change direction. That's cool I just hope he gets somewhere soon because the last several updates don't feel like they're going anywhere - just sticking in new Lis who are mostly pretty generic and who don't feel important to the story yet and new side quests that don't feel related to the original story.I'd be happy to read a story just about Eliza. Completely agree. Buu is doing it his way, I remember in the early days, when it first started, a number of people were complaining about Eliza and the overload and he responded with she's not going anywhere, this is my story and I have a plan for how it works. Now, 2 years later, he is still staying true to his vision and not getting swayed by the loudest and most persistent voices. Kudos.I'd be happy to read a story just about Eliza. That won't keep working though, even if you ignore it for now. I played a game called Mech Command ( I think, something like that) that was a harem game but you got to choose which girl(s) you were with but at the end they were all there, and talking like they were all your Lis and arguing over which one was your favorite - even though I only ever did anything with one of them. So not only was it increasingly annoying as the game wore on but it killed the ending as well.Completely agree. And he gives us players the option to avoid the girls we want to. Sure the dialogue can get frustrating with girls if you are not on their path, but if he starts adding all the variables and pathing to make more sense on the girls you've avoided then we will not be getting monthly updates, so I have learned to just ignore it and keep moving with the story.
Was that Mech Academy? I loved that one. Choosing one girl at the end is fine with me. Harem is fine too. There are two problems with harem games. One, they either get too many LIs to the point its ridiculous and I just lose interest. Two, when I am devoted to one character like Eliza, I don't get enough of her. That won't keep working though, even if you ignore it for now. Yeah the issue is there just becomes TOO MANY LI's at a point. Harem games should have a pretty strict range of around 5-6 as a maximum amount I understand people want to appeal to every kind of archetype but lets be real, if theres a goth girl, a freckled redhead, a typical blonde, and a edgy/tomboy brunette, majority of people are covered. If people also kept the body types to a mostly realistic level and stop giving the models the equivalent of 5 BBLs and 20 Boobjobs it also would be alot better lol. I dont mind thick, I enjoy it, but man, alot of harem games go buck wild with the proportions that the characters just kind of look like they're mutated. (which then brings more characters to appeal to the polar opposite types instead of being in a happy middle)Its a catch 22 for devs. No matter what they do someone won't be happy.
Not here to talk about that one so I'll just say that it was mostly ok but toward the end the conversations got increasingly silly while they argued, and got jealous and debated which was my favorite when I was only with one of them - ever. Was that Mech Academy? I think it's even worse than that. When Eliza and Alice have their little expository chat about how multiple wives/mistresses are the norm for human men, they both make it clear they don't *like* that double-standard. They accept it because they're powerless to change it. The MC, however, could change that if he wanted to, simply by picking a single wife and not sleeping around.Still not interested in a harem but I wish we could actually marry Eliza - and then say to all the others - "If you're interested in becoming a secondary or backup wife, please speak with Eliza - she has the forms."
Edit: Don't know if anyone noticed but Eliza said "Yes don't worry about me, go" when the bird came for MC but when Trouble found Eliza she was crying. Really wish we could stop leaving her behind all the time. MC is not nice to Eliza.
Oh, I did friendzone Eliza. There's no change, other than skipping a few lewd scenes. She's still constantly rubbing her naked body against his and he's always eager to see her... right up until it's time to rush off without her.Just did a speed run with the WT on - made dark path choices except 2 (helping Eliza in the forest and giving Bori his ring back) also chose intimidation over persuasion in every case and earned zero trust points with anyone except Eliza, Pearl got one point in a choice where you had to earn either 1 or 2, Bori got a few, and Maia and Lucid each got a few (Lucid is my 2nd favorite girl in this so far - but she's a god so probably not a Li). So everyone else is at either 0 or a negative number for trust points and I should be locked onto Eliza's romance path but locked out of the romance paths with Sylph, Luna, Amelia, and Pearl. So far none of that changes anything with the story - even people whose romance paths you are locked out of still talk about you like you're their future husband.
It would be interesting to see what happens if you took the Eliza friendship path but I don't think anyone did.
