I was fine with the story up until the pirate twins, but that's where things really started to go off the rails. They betrayed you as much as Selena did, but with Selena you have the option to kill her sister and no matter what you decide the relationship between MC and Eliza and Selena is over forever. With the pirate twins you don't even get the option to be angry with them, and you don't get the option to not go to their rescue when they're in trouble and suddenly you're not in the capital anymore and none of the characters being developed there are in the story anymore in any significant way and instead we're playing a completely different game with all new characters but I'm still only interested in Eliza - partly because I don't want to hurt Eliza (who has said she doesn't like polygamy) but also because I just have no interest in any of the others. They are not interesting characters at all (IMO). The story on the island isn't only not interesting, but the Dev isn't even writing it. the whole story is borrowed from a different game.
Difficult the pirate twins are important without them, you won't get the water walking/fighting lady, and without her, you don't get to go to the island to connect to all the gods...
I have no idea what the use of selena is, doesn't really matter what you do with (or her sister) it seems
No they did not. One sold you out to Taron, the others betrayed their dad and all their allies because they wanted to help the mc out
I think it's pretty obvious that Buu changed his mind on Selena and she was probably originally going t play a bigger role. Espically since at the start they ask you to choose between her, Alice and Eliza.

Yes but it makes no sense that the MC hates Selena who betrayed him but adores the pirate twins who also betrayed him just a little while after that. (I personally have zero interest in the Diana, the water walking/fighting lady, or anyone on the island, IDGAF what happens to the pirate twins, or the Island people.)
If that choice in the beginning was BS between Alice and Eliza, in the beginning you had the idea you could choose between accepting Eliza or not, but whatever you choose she kept following you. And even Alice lies in your bed in the end....
There's another one later where it asks you to pick one of the three or go for a harem. I'm pretty sure originally Selene and Alice were supposed to be main girls along with Eliza, but got sidelined in favor of the twins and Luna. I think this game was also originally going to be more route based than it ended up being. I don't know if Buu originally planned for Selene to betray the mc or if he didn't think Selene would end up being so hated but at this point I doubt she'll be an important character again.

Well i kinda remember how we players kiiinnnnddaaa forced buu to change the whole selena thing, MC was WAY more forgiving towards her in the first versions. You were barely able to scold her (similar to the pirate twins situation) until everyone was begging buu to give us other possibilitys
I think at this point he just moved her into the garbage bin while he originally intended a bigger role for her

I think so too I recall there was a bit of dialogue like she was looking for some relic to bring her sister back and took a chance and asked the MC for help. Very next update Eliza kills her was really weird and strange.
I never saw that dialogue but remember you mentioning it, i think i never killed the sister probably.
But yes very strange lol, if we had the possibility i would have went along with her just to kill the sister again afterwards just because of her stupidity to ask the murderer of her sister to help her revive her

Buu seems to believe that the most important thing is to get a lot of content out quickly, even if that content isn't very good.

cant agree with you there although Nephilim was on my favourite list for a while (but had also something to do with the monthly updates) but since the story went to crap and the stolen content as well as using the same renders just to fill the holes i removed it from my list because what is left is just some "40 year old" virgin phantasy about virgin women who jumps on the MC´s dick just because he exist and dumb lovey dovey talk along the way
imaging going into a bar and ask a women, who is a virgin, if she wants to fuck, of course she says yes and jumps on your cock, i mean i had some success with that approve but Nephilim is just like that "a virgin boy phantasy" and i dont think Buu had much contact with women otherwise he wouldnt write such stupid dialoges and would give the characters some unique personalities, instead of the same.
