I strongly suspect the King will get offed in an assassination or coup and the Queen and Princess will need to join MC on the run. Conflict resolved for romance paths.
I mean, maybe ... for those who are interested. I am not. Being on good terms with the local royals is better than being on bad terms with the local royals but I have no interest in going on the run with them, or having them go on the run with me, or being a consort. I'm respectful because I don't want them to cause trouble for Eliza and I but that's about the extent of my interest in them.
If the king is offed, I suspect it'd tie to the larger story conflict about MC in some way that makes it beneficial to protect the remaining local royals.
That would be annoying for sure - having to protect royals that aren't even royals anymore.
Yeah, not only does the King have his own enemies, but becoming closer to MC has potentially made him a target for MC's enemies as well. If I wanted to weaken MC without going after him directly, neutralizing a friendly base of political power could be one way. I could easily see MC's enemies and the King's enemies working together to do this for their own purposes.
I understood that the result of a dark path would not be seen until a fair way along. So it may still be coming. I also thought it involved corruption of the girls, so maybe rejecting them changes things again. I think we'll have to wait and see.
But other than let Eliza go a bit crazy with the fangs, I haven't corrupted anyone - or done anything with them except tell them to back up ... quite a lot.

Depends on whether you like that thing or not. Personally I will never play a path like that.
I normally wouldn't either - but it doesn't seem to change much in this case. I have no interest in corrupting girls and making them my personal concubines. I'm only, exclusively with Eliza in this so if there is no downside, if it's just about the harem that I don't intend to have, then I can just make decisions on a case-by-case basis and not worry about whether it's dark path or light path.
honestly the idea of corruption seems like an odd concept in this game with how everyone in the harem is easy to catch you only need a starter poke'ball. That's why I never thought any dark path choices would lead to that till you showed that postView attachment 4310008

I've been thinking of learning Ren'py and making mods. I'd like one for this game that just automatically rejects everyone but Eliza - as in they don't even ask. Of course, that would make large parts of this into a kinetic novel. Thinking of doing something similar for a few other games where solo routes are possible but the dev makes it very difficult.
