I restarted from the beginning of the game, picked every romance option for both of them and the twins flag doesn't set.

Then use URM to set it manually like I said in the post or just wait for the next update to feature Kira where you'll get asked if you are pursuing both to set the flag for you.

This update felt game is heading towards downward direction
Being a nephilim, he is getting toyed around by a mortal, even accepting that she was superior and he is dependent on various abilities he got from his adventures feels
What if he never visited that island(forgot its name) from where he got his regen ability
Would he be dead by then
A demi god getting killed by a mortal would have been hilarious to see

Thats one of my main issues to, you simply just cant controle anything story wise, only who to fuck or not and the hole dark path just dosent work, like the water/ice girl your forced to be nice with, where i wanted to kill the bitch but MC the mr.nice guy on dark path you cant even call her a bitch after she tried to kill your ass lol.....if you put in a dark path do it right or not at all.
Maybe work on that instend of just trowing in more and more girls that all wants MCs dick....the hole island and tribe girls i just skipped wanting to get back to main story instend of wasting time on nothing.....

I don't know Buu and can't be sure but it feels like he started out building lots of paths and then realized that he couldn't actually do that and stick to anything like his current output schedule so he just abandoned that whole thing and made it all about the harem instead.

Hmm...I noticed when MC is talking to Pearl on the deck just after a night of first time sex with her (start of this recent update), URM tool displays a requirement check that shows the twins are not enabled at this point of the story (yet I did play for both girls as love interests...).

1. Right click and pick save as to download the URM tool.
2. Drop / copy the file into the game folder and run your game exe.
3. Using ALT m (while the game is running) to bring up the tools search function and enter twins and hit enter.
4. Edit.... false to true, and click on remember to save, exit URM and confirm requirement check (image above shows where).

This literally describes my experience with the game. I was pretty miffed about this VN when I finished it the first time. I thought Eliza was being wasted and the story was all over the place. Over time I just lowered my expectations and started to have fun with it and I like it a lot better. I still think Eliza is wasted here but it's a nitpick at best. Kira and Pearl grew on me, Pearl especially (that ass tho).

Weirdly I stopped caring about eliza so much when she was no longer vulnerable.

The game completely shifted in tone and direction after Taron maimed her

Maybe my problem is that I didn't. I actually like her more now and would never leave her behind - because first she was my romantic partner and now that she's a vampire I feel like she could be my partner in a fight as well - I wouldn't be constantly worried about how she was doing.

(I also have a feeling that something is going to happen to her while we're gone because of the whole thing with the bandits and the vampire hunters.)

I don't know Buu and can't be sure but it feels like he started out building lots of paths and then realized that he couldn't actually do that and stick to anything like his current output schedule so he just abandoned that whole thing and made it all about the harem instead.

Yeah that sounds about right, but that will proberly become a mess to if dev keeps adding more and more girls and story might hurt on top of that as well.. it had such good potential.

I got major Dawnguard vibes from the First Dawn (Skyrim if someone lies under a rock). Eliza will be their Serana. Something will happen and MC will show up to straighten it out and his connection to the werewolf guy will smooth things over and they will learn to accept Eliza or get wiped out.

It did, I thought it was going to be one of the best (and would be totally fine with the output slowing way down for that to happen). After talking to people here yesterday though it's a C list game for sure. (A list is things I'd recommend to people generally - B list is things I'm not sure about yet and C list is things that I'm still sort-of following, and might recommend to certain people individually but not to a wide audience - D list is for delete, and there is no F) It was A list when MC got back with the cup.

I'd happily take this level of content over a complex branching story (same with Elleria).

I'm assuming he also got all the standard 'omg no h scenes this update awful dev bad game' complaints and so took to shoehorning them in wherever possible.

Honestly this update had too many sex scenes imo. I'd be content with him just romancing the tribe leader and lining up Vex on the side. Vex is actually (currently) well written exactly because she doesn't just throw herself at the MC. MC doesn't need to fuck everything that moves

Definitely not me. I don't like kinetic novels and other than who you want to fuck (which for me is Eliza and only Eliza) this game is headed toward Cosy Cafe territory. Lots of content is nice but not if it's boring content + a bunch of lewds.

Same for me, i just dont do kinetic novels at all, i also value story more then just dropping in one sex scene after the other, to me that just dosent add value in any way, might as well hit up a porn site and look at animated scenes instend, there just has to be some debt and getting to know a character before fucking them or its pointless and not fun.

For me the only interesting bits in the last 3 updates have been the bits with Eliza in them. I absolutely do not care about the pirate girls, or the new admiral or the island girls or anything that’s happening on this “adventure” at all, in any way. These updates could have been 90% shorter and actually would have been better for it in terms of the story.

The mod has now been updated for 0.5.1, and I've added the twins as "Pearl and Kira" in the cheat mod, for players having issues with this.

"I can write it better" is not an excuse for plagiarism. Buu could have written the whole "tribe of women in the jungle thing" without copying anyone, scene for fucking scene.

There are differences. Both in the story and obviously in the assets. Story-line concepts do not belong to anyone. Copying and adapting good ideas is how humanity got to where it is today. "Monkey see, monkey do" is the mantra of human progress and the foundation of EVERY good work of fiction in human history. If you're so upset about it feel free to stop playing the game. But I'm guessing you're still gonna play the game even though you're complaining.

One update shouldn't make or break your desire to play the story unless it's so feasibly bad that it crosses into Dual Family nonsense.

This update was fun. This update was also a huge wink, nod, and nudge to Lust City. How many coincidences have to happen before you stop and go "wait, this is exactly like Lust City?" The main thing missing is the family relation. Sofia is Pearl, Arya is Echo, etc. Pearl's sex scene at the tree after they ate the berries is almost verbatim the scene that happens with Sofia. The MC is chained up and has a tense confrontation with guards before the leader steps in and dismisses them. The priestess is hostile. I could go on and on but to summarize, this update was a copy of LC and that's fine.

Eternum did something similarly with a Stanley Parable section recently. It was divisive, as most VN things are, but it didn't straight up copy the plot. It took the mechanics of SP and fit it inside Eternum's characters. That's doing a reference right.
