The sex scene in the recent update is pure garbage.Who create this shit?an intern?
Well lets say not only the sex scenes are getting worse.. I mean the copy pasta story from Lust City should have been Red Flag No1...

I Really Really Loved the story till MC's arrival in "Lust City 2.0", and yes at all The White Knights out there i know its not a 1to1 copy, Because the God stuff wasnt in Lust City if i recall.... But even you guys CANT Deny that 90% of the Anai Story is Basically Lust City...

And No i'm not "Hating" Buu for it, i'm just a Story enjoyer that is deeply disappointed by the current turn in the story...

I really really hope that Buu will get the turn around, i guess i have to wait for the Anai arc to end and then skip it till we are in Buu's own story again.

you know for something that gives you a good path and evil path there is that much evil going on in this it seems more neutral down the middle then a split path.

We're in Season 1 of 3 planned. Dev has said that Light/Dark will have greater impact later.

When did he said that? Not tooo long ago or in the past? Because it kinda feels like the whole dark/light path thing got thrown in the bin (and really, more or less any kind of relevant branching)
Just a few months ago. The Light/Dark branching will have a greater impact once MC Ascends.

There's a bunch of other comments in Discord about it, but that one is a good indication of when it'll start mattering.

It'll even have an impact on MC's future appearance.

yeah it always felt like the dark and light path was gonna come into Season 2 when we get our Ascension. I haven't looked at discord in months tho as I still haven't played any of the island girls updates

I do get the sense that Light vs. Dark isn't necessarily going to be the same as Good vs. Evil. Probably something closer to Hero vs. Anti-Hero. So a Light MC might be more altruistic and compassionate compared to a Dark MC that might be more selfish and ruthless. In both cases though, MC could still fight against the "bad guys".

Could of course be wrong, but something like that would prevent the story from diverging too much compared to a true Good vs Evil split.

We pretty much do know what the choice is ultimately about, as the game spells it out a few times throughout already: The MC has to choose between saving or destroying the world. And while there are nuances to what "destroying" the world might mean they are pretty much all basically evil. I don't think there's any variation of that potential outcome that is even morally gray. Now how much we can flip-flop around is unknown...we can completely flip like a lightswitch at the end of Season one but can we keep doing that in seasons 2 and 3? Could we in theory play all evil until the end of season 3 and still save the world or all good and still destroy it? That we don't know. But in terms of the endings each path leads to, those are pretty straightforward.

The issue I see with this though is that it'd be very hard for such vastly different endings to feel genuine if 99% of the story was mostly the same up until then. And I don't seriously see two full seasons of essentially completely diverged narratives, and likely not even one season. The amount of extra work that would require is massive.

Now, if "destroy" is used loosely here or an unintended consequence, I could maybe see something. But the amount of character divergence that would be needed to separate a heroic MC from one that would willingly destroy the universe in the most direct sense doesn't seem like something that could just be handled by occasional minor branches.

Maybe I'll be surprised though.
