As someone who doesn't like Pearl, or Kira or Diana(? - the new one) and doesn't think any of the other Li's are worth spending a night away from Eliza for ... you are correct about this update.
What you talking about? For me Kira the best girl damn, but that's my opinion i really liked eliza from the beginning but after that trip when we meet kira wow she is just something else

No, not me. Eliza is still the only one I like (not just as a Li - I dislike all of the others, even as friends) and I would have killed Kira and Pearl if I'd been allowed. I definitely wouldn't have come to their rescue.

That's funny because I don't like Eliza or Alice. One felt like they're entitled to a relationship and the other is so clingy, you'd think they were married already. It's honestly written so poorly in the beginning. And it's not like I didn't understand the devs intention. You're clearly not supposed to avoid them, but that just makes the dialogue and such look awkward with the option to do it there.

I would have preferred if it was like Between Two Worlds, or the Seven Realms with Eliza as the Hannah / Leyala - always there but with sometimes other opportunities as well. (I wouldn't have taken those opportunities but still ... they could be there.) Edit: I understand what you mean about the writing though - I've shot down every other Li and am officially locked on the friendship path with 5 of them but they all still talk about MC like he's their one and only.)
This approach has its ups and downs. The perfect solution would be if the player could chose the main LI but this would require WAY too much branching for a avn developer at the moment.
I dont like between two worlds because i dont really like hannah, dooms the whole avn for me. Leyala is only mid to me which reduces the fun from seven realms too

I don't like how Leyala was done though, so Eliza having a forced mechanism like a bond would've probably made it worse. The dev should've just wrote Eliza as MC wife from the start or girlfriend. Or just removed the choice to reject her altogether.
By the way, Kali best girl in Seven Realms.

I like Hannah and Leyala - but more generally, for story focused AVNs (rather than porn focused) I think getting the romance/dating part out of the way right out of the gate, it allows the Dev to then go ahead and tell their story. Finding opportunities to stick in a lewd scene is easy because you have your main Li - all you have to do is go to bed at night, so there is no weird maneuvering to put you in a situation where you can have sex. In this one, how much time has been devoted to introducing you to new Lis and finding opportunities for you to win them over and then have sex with them, when most of that time could have just been spent telling the story. The great thing about this story is the development of the MC and Eliza's relationship. If they had been married straight off, it robs the VN of the best part IMO. MC and Eliza's growing relationship makes the story for me.
PS Layala and Kali for me, I can't choose between them yet. Put them up against Eliza and Eliza wins hands down. Just sayin.

For me, it's the opposite. The start isn't great at all. It's clear the dev is pushing the player towards a specific choice. It doesn't even give you time to decide if you like her or not. It progresses too fast and assumes you're already in love with her. Even though you're given plenty of choices to turn down her advances and prevent yourself from doing it.
As for the waifu thing. Eliza only wins against Leyala. Kali is much more interesting as a character than both of them combined. At least for me. Others might prefer differently.
