I normally have a thing for redheads too but Kira never came close to wearing me down. I didn't like her from the start and then had to keep batting her away - over and over again to the point where I wanted MC to get mad about it. "How many times do I have to tell you I'm not interested?!?"
I wanted MC to get mad at Alice too - you just got Eliza back, she's wounded and you're ready to go scorched Earth on all of creation to make her well again and destroy those responsible - you're laying in bed with her, and Alice is like "so ... you wanna fool around?" I would have kicked her out and never spoken to her again.
I was turning her down at every point before the cave, after she tried to protect MC from the skeletons I changed my mind about her. I could have done without the sex scene though, would have much preferred to be nice to her without that since I was way more concerned about Eliza and fucking someone else in a cave just seemed wrong.
Yeah ... well I didn't change my mind about her (or her sister) but I just kept thinking "I need to get what I came for and get back to Eliza, I don't have time to get involved in the lives of smelly pirate hookers."
this is a weird scene for me. I kind of put the blame on both the MC and Alice tbh. Alice was sleeping naked but with Eliza which is already weird but maybe not in their culture so I give that a pass then the MC jumps in bed naked with her being naked. This is where I shift blame to the MC. Then when she ask to sleep against the MC I don't entirely blame her cause she does have a crush on the MC and the situation probably giving her mixed idea's or signals. But this is where I also shift blame back to Alice because she should still have some self control here.

This kinda ties back to what I was saying about the game having a character problem beyond MC and Eliza. Regardless of where you put the blame, this is the point where Alice ceases to be a possible Li for me. She already comes across as extremely mentally ill. She has based her whole life path on a promise made to her by a 10 year old who subsequently found his parents murdered and then vanished - but instead of being sad and then getting on with her life, she convinces herself that he's coming back to fulfill his promise and then just waits. When it turns out she's right and he is coming back, she immediately focuses back on the promise he made when he was 10 and sorta skips everything else that happened to him. I mean she acknowledges it but then shoves it to the back burner and tries to pick up where they left off. So despite the rape and murder of his parents and the decade of hardship that followed for him, MC is still handling the whole situation better than Alice. The thing when she was in bed with MC and Eliza was just the cake topper. Alice does not need MC, she needs a psychiatrist.
