Except he's not in any military being trained. He's a self taught adventurer that comes with all of the bad habits of being self taught. He have been dead long ago if not for his mentor and his powers. Diana should have been a humbling experience but like Mav said, actual character growth gets in the way when you've got women to collect. I know that last part doesn't apply to you, Pix, but it needs to be said all the same.

He barely eeks out a victory against Diana and instead of reflecting on it, pulls a Shepard and says "we'll bang, okay." Then goes to the island where he just repeats it over and over to the island girls.

And he didn't eek out a victory over Diana at all. He lost straight up, he even admits it himself that she's stronger than he is. He lost round 1. I don't really get why people are making a big deal out of the Diana thing though, he's not a normal Human and she's not a normal human. Mc has more potential, but she's had better training and more experience.

That's true, which would have been excellent but she didn't *really* start the fight. The MC got in her way and after she asked him several times, refused to let her do her job. It's not like she just attacked him out of the blue.

maybe but I see her as the attacker as she was the aggressor in my eyes. I don't think she even really gave the MC much chance to talk as far as I can recall. If I recall correctly when she found out he knew the pirates and was trying to get her to let them go and was working for the Kingdom she branded him as traitor and attacked.

Like yeah from her pov I can see why she would attack but I still see her being the hostile one not really allowing the MC proper chance to explain or talk very much. As to me I don't see the MC being much of a threat her at that point to warrant a attack even if she considers him a traitor. But I am a little biased as one thing I hate in games or whatever is when a character attacks over an assumption without letting someone explain fully unless you know that character is meant to be a bad guy / evil or just an asshole .

So I just replayed that part again to be sure but Diana attacked first. Mc shows and stops her from killing Kira and Pearl and then Diana attacks the mc for defending the pirates.

I wouldn't have gone in the first place - I would have saved her the trouble after my previous experience with them - but that doesn't make it not MC's fault. If a soldier shows up to kill some people and you side with the people she's trying to kill, it's still your fault you got attacked.

Let's be honest, Pix's MC can't exist with Eliza so he would have never made it back in the day with Alice only.

I generally agree expect the MC is a personal bodyguard to the princess and is trusted by the King. So at the very least I think she can hear him out or verify his identity before making a rash decision that she can't undo.

Nah, if I were here I would have done my best to take him prisoner but I would have done what I came to do. I wouldn't call of a - apparently long planned and probably very expensive mission (given the number of people involved) because some rando dude says he knows the king.

and if I were the king I would have her demoted when he finds out especially cause they have magic birds and device so would of not taken that long to check in. Cause from my POV she could at least keep them prisoner and wait to execute them especially if he might be an important person to the Kingdom.

Nope. Diana never asks him to stand aside, she really doesn't say much of anything. "Just how dare you attack the royal navy and defend these pirates"

I mean the mc didn't even know who she was at first. I don't really think he should have stood there while she kills his friends(they're his friends even if you hate them), especially since their innocent and are really only getting attacked because of who their Dad is. Honestly, she really should be executing them in the first place, she should be taking them prisoner and having them stand trail. Or at least ask the king what he wants to do with them.

I get that I think with how fast the MC got news of the girls needing help she could of waited if they have magic devices and ways to verify pretty quickly. But the MC would have to be willing to be a prisoner till she can verify. But I kind of forgot they were fighting first

For her it was very personal though. I don't think the possibility of demotion would stop her, or that she'd even think about it in that moment - since the whole reason she became a sailor in the first place was to do what she's about to do. (From my POV it almost would have been worth that big run across the water to watch - almost, but not quite.)

Well the demotion would be after the fact. Personally I would want to have her fired or go all the way down to a mere solider not in a command position but that would hurt the Kingdom. Now if there was no magical devices then yeah no big deal the MC was an idiot.

The girls sent a magic raven, and even then the communication wasn't instant. It would seem really weird to stop a fight to verify his identity and even if he was telling the truth it's not like the mc has any authority here. He's not there on behalf of the king or the princess, it's purely personal business. She is there on behalf of the king though. If anything the king might be upset with the mc for hindering his admiral on official business. I don't think either the mc or Diana was wrong in the situation other than the fact Diana wanted to kill the twins in the first place instead of just taking them prisoner.

well like I said I forgot they were even fighting before the introduction cause yeah after that point why would he willing become a prisoner for a day or 2 at the most just to verify it. As I figure she can verify it in either a few minutes - a day or 2 depending what devices she has on hand. Now im not saying he has the authority to change her mind from killing then or anything. Just the fact he has a high position is worth checking in with the King now this was before you reminded me they were fighting before the introduction.

In short, Diana made MC her bitch on multiple occasions. If MC didn't have his regeneration ability he would have died.

So a literal powerful being got his ass kicked by an above avg human being but a human being none the less and for what? So that he could be in a bed with her half naked?

I wanna point out something about Nephilim. they typically become stronger with age and depending on the angel that made them, could rival them or become even stronger. that being said, I think right now, we're just seeing MC as more of a teenager rather than an adult Nephilim meaning he hasn't even achieved his full potential. chances are, somewhere in the future, he'll get a big boost in power and become stronger than her
