The option is only in the "Red" path, If you go "Blue" then not but anyway, MC has to learn a lot about Magic before he can really face Talon, my suspicion is that Talon wants the MC to give the Entity a Host, and his only chance is to bring him under his control to strike at the right moment.
Yeah but you can mix blue and red and it doesnt matter. And killing a asassin who tried to kill you and your girl isnt evil anyway. My comment about the laser eyes wasnt really serious anyway lol

So you think Taron wants to use a nephilim as a host for a nephilim? Sounds kinda strange but who knows but i suspect too that he doesnt want to be the vessel himself

Why ? To kill him, i doubt it and he has allies which can cover the magic part. What Taron is planing for the MC is really not that important for us to kill him.
Talon is more versed in Magic, than MC at this point even like me having Laser and Symbiont on board.
Remeber who initated MC, and Daren the guild leader wields more power than he let's on.
concerning the entity, I remeber foggy that the evil was banned and his body destroyed, so he can't materialize on earth.
but I can be mistaken (I`ll make a new playtrough just to freshen up the story as soon I can)

I mean it sure wasnt the smartest way of handling things. But imo only leaving Amelia alone in the city and not telling anyone about his relationship to taron were super dumb. And the first one i can excuse with the MC feeling to secure and maybe arrogant after Taron didnt moved for quite some time.

I think letting himself being captured at this point is okay. He knows he can break out at any time if he desires so and trusts his friends/guild to rescue amelia to get out of this without having to slaughter the whole palace and making his own life (and that of his friends) unnecessarily complicated due to it.

And he's just a few hours behind bars until now, i doubt he will stay there even a day.

I think its similar to the point above, he doesnt (thats dumb and arrogant) consider Taron this much of a threat that this would be necessary (and it would be hard to explain to the royals). He's (too) sure hes able to kill him soon without everything around it getting messy. He's probably right about that tho and i think even Taron knows that.

He could have just lasered talon too or simply broke the prison bars open lol

Uhhhhh, i disagree completly. The mc's whole purpose is to be the leader of mankind (for good or worse), being king is just a small steps towards that.

As i understand the story everything leads towards mc vs. the other nephilim and both with their support and armys.

He will surely never sit in the palace all day long, but i suspect he will be king.

Or like Amelia will just be the ruling Queen and he king consort so he barely has to deal with any formalities.
The problem with this is that it is just again stupid and careless on the part of the MC. You don't give your enemy second chances no matter the circumstances like how he is doing over and over again. It is becoming like power rangers where the bad guy escapes at the last second just so you can have another episode. When he was introduced yeah he was a threat but not anymore in the grand scheme of the plot. He is just another pawn so eliminating him at this point is simply for the revenge and securing the safety of MC's loved ones who might not be able to defend themselves. It is better to get rid of him than let him keep on reeking havoc when you have the power to stop it. At this point the MC shouldn't even listen or take advice from anyone who says oh don't kill him or don't do this, it was there fault that allowed this rot to fester. Best to do it his way now. Instead of listening to others rules who have poor judgement and no power, make his own rules.

Exactly, even on my good guy path i make sure to have some laz eyes.
And killing assassins which try to kill you isn't something i considere evil, not that i make pure evil or pure good runs.

Also you have other choices, like the symbiont.

Not for the fact that he killed the MC's parents?

I dont really disagree but in this situation (being brought and accused in front of the court and put in jail) i think its still more understandable why he doesnt act at this point now.

Lets be real, since the mc came back from his pirate journey, he should have been doing nothing else but searching taron and killing him, everything else could have been paused until afterwards (like playing bodyguard, going on dates, doing guild quests).

Wut?

MC's purpose is to either destroy the evil Nephilim or destroy the world, not rule it.
I saw it as the mc + allies vs the other nephilim + allies. Its like a apocalyptic war therefore he would have to rule/lead his "side" which he is doing already somewhat.

The pirates and adventurers guild are loyal to him, i suspect the palace and sorceres guild are coming next

I'm not quite sure we're seeing the same things here......

MC has power but he aint ruling shit. He still works for other people and isn't the brightest bulb.

I'm almost certain that if it came down to one side V the other side then someone else will be doing the planning and handing out orders.

MC is more of a tactical nuke. Causes massive devastation but someone else is aiming it.

As for the king stuff, he's engaged to Eliza and will be marrying her. Even if the princess does take the throne he's only going to be fucking her. Even if he did marry the princess and she inherited the crown, she'd be the queen, he'd be the king consort. She'd have the power.

Alot of the issues people had with this update I do agree with but it just didn't bother me enough to take anything away any enjoyment from the game / update for me tho I can accept characters being dumb for plot if I like where it's going pretty easily. With all that being said I think so far it is still one of the better updates this year at least for me.

I do think when everything is said and done if the King isn't dead he will want to give the MC something as compensation for imprisoning and probably stopping Taron. I think that's when the MC will ask for Amelia or will be the kings idea even if the MC has no desire to rule in the future he would know he can trust him and would him too just to protect his daughter when he is gone.

On paper yes, but in reality whoever marries the princess will be in full control. That's why every lord in the kingdom is trying to have their sons marry her.

Everybody complaining about the MC not using his powers to get free - that is exactly what Taron wants, if the MC is publicly exposed as a Nephilim he will be driven away, people remember the last nephilim who nearly destroyed everything and everybody will want him gone. In that case Taron wins. Left in a cell with a werewolf (only Taron knows this) Taron hopes the werewolf attacks him and is killed - next morning the MC is found in the cell with the body of his cellmate and MC is thought to be a cold-blooded killer.

I would have killed him before he went to Tortuga. Why wait and give him time to hurt more people and gain strength? No thanks. but the ship has already sailed..

Even in the throne room when the MC was accused of treason and violence.. he has super speed, all we had to do is run next to him and kill him - even if we would still have ended up in the dungeon for that, everything else would have been cleared up afterwards and acquitted us -> the maid would have told the truth (because Taron is dead) - Luna's mother could also have told what Taron did and then Amelie, after his friends brought her back would have been there for us too Testified and with Taron dead, her release will probably be even easier since there is no one left to give the orders - case closed.
so let's finally get rid of this monkey so that most of us can sleep better at nights lmao

i don't like it that the Mc always waits till there is no turning back, then all we have to do is kill this scarface and be done with it

true but I dont think the MC would want to rule so I see him letting her rule while he does his own thing / takes care of threats to the kingdom , like the Vampire kingdom.
