They're not wrong. Other games may be release just every 10 months but with more content as this game has in 10 months. Development times aren't an indicator for good games or good working devs. Content is.

Yeah some people seem to lack any kind of comprehension when its about development speed. Just look at renders/year and you already get the idea that Nephilim is above average compared with other avns with similar quality.
Its kinda funny that most of the avn's in the users signature are considerably slower

That's 3505 renders in 10 months. Sure, there're devs with less, but that aren't good numbers. One small dev, working all alone in free time while doing a full time job with just one system to work and render, pulls a 7000+ renders update in the next weeks after 9 to 10 months since the last. I don't say Buuplays is lazy or anything. Don't get me wrong here. All I'm saying is that monthly releases aren't a sign of quality or good work. Long release times aren't bad per se and so aren't short release times good per se.

Most devs don't have lots of free time, do have a full-time job, but still put out monthly updates and do "what they can". While we got devs that don't have a full-time job, and don't put out monthly updates, but updates every 6 months with 100 renders but it's the best shit on gods green earth.....
People know what this game is by now, they should just wait 6 months then to play an update instead of whining every single month about the same tired shit.

And he is a single part time dev. Not many Devs can deliver this content in 10 months.

I don't compare Bluuplay with milkers and scammers. I compare them with devs who proved their worth. Again: all I'm saying is that monthly releases aren't a sign of quality or good work. You could say the same about long/big updates as well, as 9 times out 10 those games have lots of characters (what I like to call "bloat") and lots of routes and you might not even get an update with content on whatever route you play for more than a year.
Also, factor in animations as well, some games only do renders, no animations.
With all of your yapping, you guys are slowing down my download speed. What a rude lot of pirates...

I think every dev who manages 3k-4k renders a year with good quality (+ animations) is acceptable when we talk about development speed. How often updates appear indeed does not really matter.
Its not really amazing but good enough, its just kinda surprising when you feel the need to mention it here while you passionatly defend and endorse devs like from summer scent who produces the amount of renders buu develops in 1-2 updates in a year of time.
But like that Buu at least proves his consistency which reduces the possibility of procrastination

Urm, you really want to discuss games having lots of characters and lots of routes in "Nephilim" thread? Nephilim is bloated (I'm using your phrasing here) with characters. The story moves forward very slowly. Very slowly. It's like an RPG where the player has to do 1312 side quests to be able to play the next main quest.
The start of this discussion was the statement that this AVN is slow and one answered we get an update every month. Well, this AVN is slow and an update every month doesn't mean the opposite. You can get AVN's with a faster pacing, way better structured story, and more content, but with 8-12 months between releases.
