First, he should have taken Eliza with him. Between the half angel and the first gen vampire there isn’t much that can get in his way but no just like the dudes in every b-horror movie, splitting up is his go to move THEN after winning he decides to nurse the woman who nearly killed him back to health. I think I’ve found MC’s achilles heel - his kryptonite - it’s that … he’s an idiot. Total f’in moron. I hope people don’t keep exploiting that all the time.
As strong as he is, carrying another person while running for hours would have slowed him down and fatigued him more. Both he and Eliza got fatigued a bit carrying wood, so he certainly isn't immune. His main concern was making it on time, not bringing additional fighting power, so bringing anyone else would have been counterproductive. He certainly wasn't expecting to find a human that would prove a match to him, which admittedly was a hint of arrogance that hopefully he's learned from.
I don’t think burning the entire kingdom would have been necessary either - just “There was a fight, she attacked me, she lost.” If the kingdom wants to attack over that then it’s their call I guess.
Probably not burning the whole kingdom, but it would virtually guarantee an end to friendly relations and possibly your ability to build a home nearby like Eliza wants. There's a 0% chance the king would just shrug at you killing one of his most decorated and trusted officers while she was carrying out duties he had ordered her to perform against what I assume he sees as undesirable pirates.
Maybe the queen or Amelia could or would argue in your defense convincingly (particularly if you're on their path_, but I'm sure there would be other political implications if other internal factions knew of it.
Nah, I like Eliza so there is no harem path. People keep saying that it’s normal in this culture or whatever but given the way Eliza was giving MC shit because she thought he was checking out the carpenter’s daughter - I don’t think Eliza is aware of that custom. At any rate, Eliza all by herself is plenty. I’m not interested in the rest and I don’t think I would be if Eliza wasn’t there - I haven’t found any yet who I’d really be interested in except maybe as a quick fuck (out by dawn, breakfast not included).
I'm sure Eliza is aware but probably still a bit jealous and possessive of attention given to other women she's not friends with, at least if you're on a harem path. She and Alice specifically have a conversation about sharing MC if you're on both their paths.
