Appreciate the insight. The points make sense but I echo the other post that I don't think the fight came across the way the dev interprets it.

Still, I might be being a little too picky. This is AVN land after all. On a side note...3 seasons? How many lewds is that gonna end up being? We pick up 1-2 characters per update at a minimum and even if some are just side content (Kelly and her mom) we're gonna hit triple digits by the end of this.

When the final boss battle comes, we're not going to use our powers at all - we're just going to throw extra Lis at him (literally).

Funny you mention this, because here's some other recent comments from Buu in the Discord:

Taron is human sure, but he is quite powerful and skilled, and with the church backing him with magic and the south of luxeron backing him with military strength, he is becoming quite a menace

Realistically though, I suspect the number of new long-term LIs to level off at least a bit after season 1. Knowing now that there's three seasons planned, it makes since for season 1 to spend a lot of time introducing them, and season 2 and 3 focused on growing them more.

P.S. Regarding Taron, he's apparently only the Big Bad for Season 1.

Realistically though, I suspect the number of new long-term LIs to level off at least a bit after season 1. Knowing now that there's three seasons planned, it makes since for season 1 to spend a lot of time introducing them, and season 2 and 3 focused on growing them more.

This seems like a rationalization after the fact. MC is half angel, Eliza is a first generation vampire and the entire kingdom is looking for Taron but there are too many lis and so the dev is trying to justify it as - we're going to need them in the coming battle against a normal guy who is very sneaky. Even if we did need to add an additional ally or two, those allies didn't have to be lis.

As for Taron, I suspect you're still underestimating him a bit and overestimating MC's acquired power. He was after all one of the three well-know "hero adventures" or whatever along with the current head of the adventurer guild, and may have gained magical benefits we don't know about yet from the cult. I'm sure once MC has fully come into his power, someone like Taron wouldn't even phase him. But MC has really only begun to tap into a fraction of his potential.

How I see the MC currently is like Darth Vader. He would of realized his full potential and grown to be strong if he didn't fight Obi wan and lose on Mustafar while Darth Vader is still powerful it's nothing compared to if he didn't lose.

I agree with all of this. We're vastly underestimating Taron but that's mainly because we haven't been shown what Taron is capable of. The only real time we saw him in action was whatever he did to break Eliza. Every other time he's either being scolded or threatening Eliza's mom (which doesn't really do anything to prove he's strong, just a bully). It's not for me to say whether or not this approach is right but it does explain why a lot of people here don't see Taron as a serious threat.

As for it being a harem game, 100%. Eliza just happened to be a cut above and she deludes all the other LIs who get marginal screen time at best, repeated sex scenes at worst. It's a tricky balance. Take away Eliza to introduce new people and you get complaints. Keep Eliza around and you hamper the harem. This is all based on the responses in this forum though. I'd be curious to know what actual paid patrons think about the situation.

I didn't mind the Alice scene as much as others. I didn't see the big deal how she was sleeping with Eliza in a medieval / fantasy society especially from a commoner . Be a different story if Eliza was a princess or Queen or it was a modern day setting. . As I imagine alot do sleep naked so probably seems normal and probably something they don't bat an eye at.

I actually blame both the MC and Alice in this scene. For how I saw it didn't feel like she was sleeping naked to seduce the MC. Then with the MC getting naked and jumping in bed is where I do shift blame towards him , as he has to know it sends mix signals to else especially because she has had an unhealthy crush and obsession over him. Where I do blame Alice is when they are in the bed together and she lacks any self control , with asking the MC about sleeping ontop of him and a potential date in the future.

Yeah, I thought about doing a list but not much point. The gods we've met are interesting, but they are gods, not Lis and I think you have to be interesting to be a god, otherwise the other gods throw you out. For me the game has a lot of pretty girls with serious issues, and one love interest.

But it definitely makes Alice look bad when the MC is like "No! WTF is wrong with you? I know we had fun playing adventurers when we were 10 but you really need to move on." Ok ... that's just what he said in my mind, but it still makes Alice look bad if you shoot her down in that moment.

As someone who doesn't like Pearl, or Kira or Diana(? - the new one) and doesn't think any of the other Li's are worth spending a night away from Eliza for ... you are correct about this update.

No, not me. Eliza is still the only one I like (not just as a Li - I dislike all of the others, even as friends) and I would have killed Kira and Pearl if I'd been allowed. I definitely wouldn't have come to their rescue.
