chapters 1-4 has new content and variable now have an effect on how you deal with things, from LIs to battles

Also, some female characters have new paths, so you might not want to be quick on the kill in your new playthrough

Highly recommend you start a new game, not only improvements, but new characters, new love interests, including a new MILF and extra side stories

Forgot to mention, variables also have an effect now, on how you deal with things, from LIs to battles

Thanks! It seems like the developer really put in the effort; I didn't expect him to change much. I'm curious to see what reactions the different decisions will elicit.

because anything between v0.5.0 and v0.6.0 = part of v0.6.0.

0.(the entire VN) .5(completed arc's) .1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9/10......(chapters towards next arc.)

my guess
after 0.5.9, he took a little break
as he did a lot of work, from new characters, the variable system, new paths for current character, especially for those you might have killed in your previous playthrough, new side stories

so it would make sense, that the content would be a less this time round

You download and install the apk file, install all the renpy plugins available
create a folder where the game will be stored, run joiply and add the exe file using the + sign

The last update had only 342 NEW renders, the rest were just updated with new variables and lots of text.

Imo there's not really that much difference between the beginning of the game and now. All he really did was add the rewrite the prologue slightly, add mc's aunt(by marriage), alice's mom and the blacksmith's daughter as love interest but as of 5.9 neither had any flags to get on their routes in the first place. Aside from that the only other difference is that he introduced a third alterntive choice to some of the intimidate/persuade choices, have Captain blackheart give the mc a lore dump on the circles of hell. Then add a tiny tiny bit more detail when the king is giving a lore dump on the other continents. If you want to see some of the new lore I guess it's worth it, but imo a restart isn't really necessary.

I would generally agree with you, however he did add Leadership & Charisma as a checkpoint for gaining trust/love points with the LIs not just dialogue changes. True trust points don't seem to affect much at this point but that might change in later chapters, or you could do what I did ... I simply edited my 'last save' and gave myself 20 points of each because after quickly checking them out, I personally have little to no interest in the Aunt or Alice's mom, and the Island gave us enough for me to ignore the Blacksmith's daughter, and keep in mind we're going back to the island, so there's bound to be even more there

not really that's the standard size for his monthly updates only here and there an update comes out that is bigger than the usual amount ( 300 -500 renders)
