yeah like I wish they actually showed any evidence of copying and shit but they still haven't and idk why if they actually think it's copying the other game
You can search my previous posts. I posted renders from both VNs in the same post to compare. There are a lot of similarities, too many to be coincidental. Even some of the progression of the sex scene with Pearl is a copy of the first scene the MC has in LC.

holy shit I think the only difference is the chains they used and that's it like how the hell does he think almost an exact replica is good?
I have no idea. I'm personally indifferent to LC but it was extremely noticeable. My belief is Buu got permission to do some kind of tribute/homage. Normally that would come with advertising the game somehow but that didn't happen. Given the audience for both VNs bleed over a bit, someone else has to have brought it up to Buu, either a patron or someone on the discord, I wouldn't know. If he's silent about it there, that's his choice. I don't think it really takes anything away from Nephilim, since you wouldn't know unless you also played LC.

I am ready to move on from it though. It feels like a filler arc.

the Whole Amazone tribe set up is 1:1 , the way MC got to the Tribe and pass trough the first test.
The whole Jungle adventure and how he finds Pearl,
although there are also clear differences, that is why I said it is hard on the edge of copying, in my post.
I enjoyed that other game, I encourage you to play it, (if you want to delve deeper in this subject)
What is clear is that the Dev. took a strong inspiration on that game which I personally find apealling.
so who cares? So one of the many stories is similar to another story out there, is that a problem ?

Who did it better?

Nobody cares, people just mentioning/noticing it, nobody has complained about the fact that the story arc is a carbon copy of the other game.
Don't get it the wrong way mate, but you sound like someone insulted your favorite toy. ;) :sneaky:

He asked about proofs, I told him some that I could percive, and that he should play that game, if he wants to have a 1st hand comparsion, as well there is still the possibility that all this arc is an "homenage, cameo" of a game which Buu loves.
Who did it better?
I don't know since I see both games as something unique, and this all is subjective ,
I personally like both. so no problem.

I mean it's not that Nephilim is a copyof the other game. It's just that one of many story arcs look like they were taken from somewhere. And probably changed a bit, to fit the story...

Of course not, Nephilim has a lot more "unique selling points".

The TLC story arc just came unexpected at least for me. I guess Buu liked it that much, that he wanted to implement this into his journey too. Good i guess.
I liked TLC until the dev decided to add the Sandbox tag to it. So to see it here again is nice (y)

No idea, even if it's the same idea,Nephilim is a lot better...
It's not even because it's a similar idea. The whole plot with the tribe of only women is identical to lust city. The assets for the village and the temples are pretty much the same and even the tests/trials the mc has to go through are almost identical as well. Just play the first season of Lust City and you will see.

Has Buu commented on the adaptation/copying of TLC or did he think no one would notice? Maybe he has permission from the Dev of TLC to adopt some of the content?

Guys..TLC is on Steam, has been for a while. While it would be wise (imo) for Buu to make a statement amount about it, if he he did not receive permission he running a lot of risks, given Candylight has propriety copyright on his work.

So let's just assume Buu isn't an idiot and did indeed get permission.

I mean ... simply looking at Buu's username/logo could give the impression that he may does not give this much of a fuck about copyright laws :p so who knows.

so far this has been good, there's been only two things I don't like- 1st: when the mc's adventure companion/romance in my run through she feed like a evil monster on a innocent person and I chose to encourage that behavior, but then after a few parts it acts like I asked her to go friendly and not act like a monster. 2nd: the part where we fight the woman on the boat, 1st since she works for the king she would know who we are & that we're close to the king, queen, and princess thus being higher on the pecking order then her. and the fight with her shouldn't be close, in terms of power she's and an ant and we're a brachiosaurus, it should have when we took it easier on her out of humanity until she stabs us, then unleash the beast with a light choice & dark choice on how bad we beat her. light side is we dodge a few hits like ultra instinct until she's tired, then a simple two finger "tap" to the forehead and out she goes. and the dark side - go kratos vs Hercules on her, followed by a kill her or save her choice.

Just because Diana works for the king, doesn't mean she had to know who the MC is because she's often away from the kingdom on missions and whatnot. Even if she was around the kingdom, she interacts with the king and not the princess so why would she know who the MC is? She might have heard that the princess was getting a new guard, but it's not like the king introduced the MC to the entire kingdom. Also, not sure a personal guard is "higher on the pecking order" than a naval commander. If I remember correctly, the fight was close because the MC had to run across the ocean to get to the ships. That used a lot of power so he wasn't at 100%. Even at 100%, the MC admitted it would probably still be close because he would need more training and she's the most powerful human he's faced or something like that. The MC has the potential to have as much power as you're saying, but he's not really there yet in the story.

Besides he was also not trying to kill her. I would assume that limits what abilities and power he uses in the fight.
Also story reasons I am sure ;)

This. As is shown in dialogue, half the damn palace guards still don't know who he is, why would the top brass of the royal fleet?

There's no way the MC is "higher on the pecking order" than Diana. She's one of the admirals of that kingdom's navy. MC is basically still an unknown. He hasn't really done anything to warrant being a household name yet outside of exposing Taron and that was more due to his friends than himself. Also, she's far from an ant. Hell, the fact he knew he needed to hold back almost led to him losing the fight, to establish that Diana is no joke to the MC.

People that play this seem to assume that MC is just god tier already and he's not. He's got to train and grow into his powers and he went into combat with a seasoned veteran. The only thing that saved him was Onyx and his powers.
