Dev is aiming for 1 harem member per save.I agree, we are all aware of this, even the mc himself is aware of this, it's just that the dev keeps introducing us to new and new girls with whom we can have further relationships...

True, but if the dev creates new options to expand his harem with every update, then in a while we will have at least one million girls in that harem. Personally, I would prefer if he focused on the story and did not constantly present us with new options to expand his already quite large harem with new acquaintances.
Most of the new girls don't matter which is why it was kind of pointless for the dev to spend so much time introducing them. Of everyone on the island only Echo and those 3 goddesses are important and every other li will most likely fade into obscurity now that we're away from the island. Same with a lot of the LI, aside from Kira, Pearl and probably Diana everyone who isn't in the capital isn't really important or plot relevant. I doubt a lot of the girls will take up much time now that we're away from the island we just have to worry about the plot getting derailed again because Buu decided to introduce 20 new girls again. Buu just seems to have issues when trying to balance the plot with filler scenes
Yeah it honestly would of been fine if he added the leaders and maybe the guard but all of them? that's kind of excessive. The only one i liked from the island arc was the guard he did the 3nd and final trial with and that's saying something because i can't even remember her name.

Being bonded to the three goddesses, and being able to transport there at will, I think the island will be important to the plot.

So I just started, actually, just started chapter 2. What is the biggest difference between light and dark points, and is it best to keep it balanced, or is one direction better?
As I just said Echo and the goddesses themselves will most likely be important. All the other islanders most likely won't be they'll just fade into obscurity and then have a new scene every once in a blue moon. Pretty much the same as Kelly, the palace maids ect. They're really just side girls and they're not really in the mc's inner circle that he regularly interacts with and aren't really important officials or faction leaders like Diana and the twins. Echo as queen kind of represents all the islanders interests so if anything important plot wise happens it will probably involve us talking to Echo about it, and any future scenes with the other islanders are more likely to just be filler sex scenes, rather than anything significant. In any case if we do visit the island again it probably won't be for a while. This whole chapter were supposed to stay in the capital and then the next adventure outside the kingdom will probably be Arazalia, since they keep mentioning it, it's where the ambassador is from and it's the only other human dominated kingdom in the setting
There isn't any differences other than flavor at the moment. They're supposed to be set up to see if the mc eventually becomes evil or not like the previous Nephilim but we're not that far yet
I meant I don't think it'll be "if". I think we'll go there frequently, although maybe it'll take several updates.
I'm not going to predict which lis will be major since there are so many, and I don't really care about any of them.

I think I'll go with balanced then; that way, when it gets to that point, I can go either way. I have a 1-point difference between the two now.We probably wont reach that point for literal years so I wouldn't worry about that. I think the dev says there are 3 seasons planned and were around the end of season 1 right now. I'd say just make whatever choices feel natural to you and worry about the dark light thing later
MC's main harem is only a few girls, as others have said... most of the others are just side girls.
In my mind the main girls are:
Eliza (his #1)
Alice
Sylph
Luna
Maia (Goddess)
Gaia (Goddess)
Malanthe (Goddess)
Then maybe
Tazzy
Kira
Pearl
I don't know how much the Island girls like Echo will be involved going forward.
And I don't know how you would count Onyx as she will be with him forever going forward.
If you don't count the Goddess characters or the Maybe characters, the his real harem is only 4 main girls. Well that is how I look at it anyway... All the others are just filler for sex scenes.
of course others may look at it differently, just my opinion.

I'm personally not a big fan of Alice/Slyph/Luna so i'd replace those 3 with your maybe 3 + Diana so my list would be.

Slyph - I find her annoying
Kira - Started okay then the Pirate Arc made made me want to get away from her
The Queen - just not interested
The Maids - decent character but their lewd scenes always come at a time when I find them annoying or they feel like their lewd scenes go on to long for my taste

No idea about the Island Arc girls yet. Probably not gonna replay the game till after the New Year or something

Did the island arc have the big diana battle or was that pre island content? i didn't play the game until recently.

I do think Diana would be a good mate for the MC, but I did not put her on my list because atm she is too important and busy to become something steady for the MC. Almost the same situation for Kira and Pearl.
Now Slyph is bonded to the MC... so she is going to be there. Alice is there as well, now I am with you that I don't really care for he model that much (she was cute as a kid). And I do like Luna and she will be a main for the MC, at least that is how the story seems to be going.
Now if you skip far enough ahead in the MC's life, it should just be Eliza out of the mortals (she can still die), all the rest except Onyx will die eventually....
now the big question is... will I live long enough to see the game completed??? (I am almost 61)

So like, do the choices to forgive people and the scenes there in just like, not matter or something? Cause like first we get selena early on, we can forgive her but then seemingly no matter what she is sent away since our main girl doesn't forgive here, now we get scenes of brenda making up with kira only for that too to not matter and pearl just doing what she did anyway? So like, what the fuck is the point of those redemption scenes and options then if they are just meaningless? Or is there actually a set of choices that lead to a different outcome?
