Honestly they're both incredible but easy choice imo...Miyo 10 times out of 10. Even though I would normally take Vex over 80% of the women in the game. It's one of those things where it's a choice between two of the best but one is still a clear winner. My top 5 are Diana, Eliza, Maia, Pearl, and Miyo. But sadly Miyo isn't a major romance so it will hurt to say goodbye when the MC leaves the island.Great Update loved it, but how can a single dev be sooo cruel

No. MC is confirmed to return during the September update, which will be 0.5.8. And so far most island updates lasted about 2 in-game days, give or take. So MC should make it back around the time Eliza needs to feed next.

Same I'm full on deep in the harem path lol. I've picked up every single person, even Alice (although I dont like her at all, Buu did her dirty with growing up IMO, though I feel she got a little bit of a makeover since the early days cause her jaw doesnt seem AS chiseled as it was

Hmm, also on PC but don't use any mods (other than URM). Those can sometimes cause issues though with new updates.
Only other thing I can think of, aside from correct installation, is if you might be saving on the wrong screen. I don't save in the screen that says "you've reached the end". That gets deleted each update, so you need to roll back a few renders until you get to actual dialogue and save there.
