Hell no. This island is the first part of the game I genuinely dislike. I get people's opinion's on Kira are mixed but I never had any problem with her. I genuinely don't care about any of the new characters from this arc.
That's what I mean, I thought Marah was being possessed by some evil spirit, but nothing came of it, and then when the dad showed up I was expecting him to work with Marah to cause trouble, but again nothing came of it. It was a lot of wasted opportunity and I think if those parts were fleshed out more people wouldn't be so disappointed about this whole island arc. And as for Kira, that is just my own personal feelings, I just don't like the character and because of that the whole time on the death island was a slog for me. At least with this island there are a variety of girls to interact with.

That's my thoughts too. Whether you like Kira or not (I don't), it was all Kira, Kira, Kira. At least on the island there is variety and choices and so much more happening.
I mean I understand why some don't like this arc, it's just a bunch of walking around and falling dick first into girls left and right, but honestly, isn't that most of this game? Everywhere the MC goes, girls just fall for him, so as far as I can see if you like the story away from the island you should like it on the island as well, it's basically all the same. The only time I've ever disliked anything from this game was being alone on the island with Kira, and that was because I didn't like her, so having to go through 3-4 updates where it was just her was a pain.
I would call it less of a "wasted opportunity" as im very very VERY thankful that these stupid plots didnt got drawn out any longer and more like "wasted setup". Marah i guess okaaay if its really needed but the fucking lord edward could just be dead or whatever, really useless all around.

Well ok that's understandable, when you don't like Kira. Still...frankly, i just don't care about any of the girls on that island, too many, none of them is interesting in any way, no character development, or story involvment and not interesting story wise, for the majority at least.

Nah, the other devs had no good story either in their island adventure, but the one thing they were good at, was sex animations...
I don't know about the "does not listen" but all of his content is stockpiled at this point until sometime next year so even if the majority of his audience was opposed, it's what he would release without having to interrupt his release schedule.
