Hello, I decided to install SD, but encountered difficulties installing models with civitai. When downloading a model, in which directory should it be placed for it to work.

Your checkpoints should go in \stable-diffusion-webui\models\Stable-diffusion, and your LoRAs should go in \stable-diffusion-webui\models\Lora. Should should probably also get the SDXL VAE and put it in \stable-diffusion-webui\models\VAE. After you put them there you may need to relaunch A1111.

My txt2img page looks like this for a basic image:


If the stuff in blue, the Clip Skip and VAE selection don't show up, you can turn them on under settings.


And if you have your LoRAs in the right place, you can pick them in the LoRA tab.


When you click them, it just adds text to your prompt like this:
<lora:Expressive_H-000001:1>
and then you can adjust the strength of the LoRA by changing the number after the colon. So I usually set ExpressiveH to around 0.5
