I personally enjoy every second of the story. I do like humiliation especially when it's done with subtlety as is the case here, even though I'll rather call it teasing, as it is too light to be called "humiliation"(not a complaint here), as least for people who have the stomach for such content.

Context wise, this is a texting simulator, it only show a small portion of the interaction between the couple, the good and bad thing is that we player do have to fill the untold part with our imagination. I do think Stag can do more to try to give some glances on what it's like outside the phone, and I believe he's doing just that, starting from the social media app. But as far as it goes now, I think it quite clear from the previous texting, Laura is doing everthing that is pleasing the mc, and there's no reason for mc to be upset.

I think some of the critic is coming from the expectation of more choices, especially in regard to what interests mc may has. But it's already been set that mc wants to get cucked, he's however, not "just a cuck". First, the mc is invited to the party, and there's a couple implications I noticed, at some point, it's possible to let the cuckoldry be acknowledged publicly, and it indicates exactly the reluctance, or hesitance of Laura to "act like a single", and I do expect mc to has a say to that(whether public humiliation is his thing), and few other matters.

Is the main plot where Laura best friends have to get involved necessary? No, it's not. Is it fun? Yes, and not every vn has to have the exact same plot to suit that one perfect setting for a certain genre, and I do expect Stag will eventually finish this one vn, then start another with different plot.

In other words, I don't believe it's the intent to make her sound cold or uncaring when the mc texts "im not comfortable" and she's like whatever, rather that's outside the fairly linear story. I do think the story would benefit from more branching; there's already plenty of content with the main theme of laura doing what she wants then telling the mc about it later.
