The APK isn't in a zip file. If you have a zip file, that's not the Android version, that's the Windows one.

This is what I see on Gofile. The unzipped file is an apk, and when I try to use package installer on it it does try to update the existing app, but it just ends in an error

Apparently you have to unninstall the previous version and install the new one, but since the game don't have a export functions, your saves gets deleted unless you manually backup them, and some phone models don't let you do it.

I think this game is missing a looot of QoL features, but judging from my interactions with the dev, he doesn't have much interest on implementing this stuff, focusing only on the new chapters.

The issue is that QoL takes time to implement properly, and that everyone is only clamouring for more content. So i'm adding QoL by small touches.

You can't skip chapters, you can replay them, but you have to first play them naturally
However, if you do that, you can only choose the main path (sub - dom), not the actual settings you chose (like who fucked Laura raw first, if Nathan did anal etc)

As for gallery, there is an option to show cross runs gallery, which shows you all images you've unlocked at any point, not just the current run

The thing is, if you're trying to unlock more images, using this functionality isn't the way
Because you can't choose the parameters, you can really control the routes fully
So for that, you need to run through the full game and make different choices

If you want a good save, you could just replay the game, put it on fast forward and just choose the options you wanted, then make sure to save
And if you're not sure about specific choices, use F5 & F9 to quick save and quick load, if you want to make sure you choose the correct options (especially useful for situations where you need a specific set of correct choices, like getting Tara's selfie from Ashley's place)

I really recommend that you create a savefile you are fully comfortable with, for the best experience in this game
It doesn't even take much if you use fast forward, you could probably set it up in an hour, maybe even less

For me that's an QoL issue. No game should make simple stuff like that take that much time on purpose, just for the sake of it. And differently from other QoL stuff, this one the dev seems adamant of keeping that way...

Well, if you really don't want to try this, I have another suggestion for you, that should take less time
Go here, it has a set of savefiles that gave 100% of images for previous update
Load them, find the one you like best, save it in a way you'll recognize, and just continue playing from that file
It should give you plenty of choice, so you'll get the best path available without directly replaying the game

My save is not progressing near the end of Chapter 25 or I think it's the Vignette 1, just after sending Nathan a picture of Laura and during a bunch of random messages from other characters. I'm on v0.17 Android.

Im guessing I should just skip to the next chapter using the Memories as a fix?
