The first game had production problems where I had to switch artists and it was a big mess. Netoria 2 has much more consistent art.Honestly my biggest gripe from the first one was the inconsistent art and character depictions. Do more QC on it this time and I'm fine.
I'm still mad that Gwen is introduced with uniquely massive puffy nipples and then it's immediately changed.
I've never used AI for any of my writing. But I didn't make the store page myself, my new publisher did. So I can't speak to whatever their process was. I'd like to think it wasn't AI based but I don't actually know.I loved your first game, I hope this one has hidden netorare/corruption (and during battles) too.
But please, for the love of good writing, fix that AI written synopsis! Or at least edit it when you use it.
I'm fed up of seeing half the last western games synopsis "mysteriously" all becoming about "power dynamic", "hidden desire", "tapestry of x and y" and other obvious AI tryhard erotic writing.
I'd say give it some time. The characters in Netoria 2 have more depth to them it takes longer to understand them than the more caricature based characters in the first game. The first game was really cool, so much so that I ended up buying it on Steam.
I don't know what it is, but I don't really like the characters in the demo as much as I did the first bunch.
Anyhow, will wait for both Acts to come out before picking up the game again.
Best of luck to the dev with their continued work.
its quite funny that description dose not match story at all. like if i only read description i would believe that it is game like netoria 1 with 1 main mcI've never used AI for any of my writing. Yeah, I did bring it up with them that it's kind of weird to talk about the story as if Zaman's POV is the default.its quite funny that description dose not match story at all. like if i only read description i would believe that it is game like netoria 1 with 1 main mc
im like 80% sure the people will get confused over these.
steam page on other hand is great
What? The names and setting alone should tell you they're Arabic/Middle-Eastern inspired. Not black.> All black character cast
It seem that we haven't the same definition of black. Is it something i'm not american or racist enough to understand? It give me more arabian nights vibe personally. Also from what i understand Futa and Gay are optional. The principle of the entire game is to have different route for different genre of NTR, you clearly miss the point.> All black character cast
> Netorare
> Futa and Gay
> Tactical rpg on the worst engine ever made
This is such a highly specific and niche of an audience you're going for this time... This is clearly not for me, Best of luck though.
The setting in Netoria 1 wasn't really planned like most of the narrative elements. Netoria 2 went through much more pre-production.I really did not see the sequel being this huge an upgrade for me specifically, in particular a fantasy setting inspired by the medieval Orient is a HUGE upgrade over the first game's setting imo.
While I wanted to like Netoria 1 the setting just seemed needlessly "unique" in a way that was not appealing. This was especially confusing in light of how coherent and well realized naked ambition was from the same dev.
In Act 1, there are three outcomes that can happen. Zaman and Shah stick together, Zaman gets together with Vashti and Shah with Azar, or Zaman and Shah break up with no further coupling. Both Zaman and Shah staying together and being NTRd have the same amount of content. That being said, I'm a big fan of the first game, i finished it twice. I especially loved the multiple route and the fact that we could avoid NTR. (more so in one of the last update of the first game ) Can we still do that here too? The fact that some gameplay element where directly correlated with NTR where really interesting. (it's not because i wanted to avoid it that it wasn't fun to play around )
So yeah in essence i wanna know if we will be able to avoid NTR and if like the last game, it will be a challenge to do so. (i liked that it was a bit hard but still feasible ). I guess it depend on which POW we are talking about if i understand right : ) .
The above passage should answer some of this, like how in Act 1 all POVs are playing around the same events from different perspectives. This, seems like a mess.
So if Im only interested in one character's fetishes, then essentially Im buying a game for full price but, only getting a quarter of the content? And if you are interested in more then you need to replay the game however many times to see it instead of just making some saves?
Or can I play as Zaman and let the gf hang out with Azar for cuckoldry play? Or does playing as Azar mean Azar gets cucked? or does he do the cucking, which if Im after being cucked and to get cucking content I have to play as Azar but hes doing the cucking, then that doesn't work for me that would be Netori. Then theres the transformation stuff, sounds like you're trying to fit too much niche stuff into the game making it too shallow. Even if I love say, futa on female if a game only has 1 or 2 scenes of it Im not going to buy a game for that a lone.
Now if I can play as Zaman and share the gf and let her join another man's harem that would be interesting and unique if there was a lot of content.
So there is no NTR-path (=cuck-path, mc's girls are fucked and dominated by someone else) in this game?Zaman is all about MtF TF, Shah is all about sharing content (and femboy stuff if you want, it's mostly asthetic), Azar is all about netori, and Vashti is a little more complecated but she's mostly about domination/being dominated.
It seem that we haven't the same definition of Arabian, but yeah you're clearly not racist enough, because what esle would it be ?It seem that we haven't the same definition of black. Is it something i'm not american or racist enough to understand? It give me more arabian nights vibe personally. Also from what i understand Futa and Gay are optional. I'm enjoying what I'm seeing so far. I played Netoria Tactics 1 and it was a great game with some obvious issues which Netoria Tactics 2 seems to be improving on. The story already feels more thought out and stable, and the character dynamics are different enough from the first game to be interesting, since the motivations is less 'let's do this because otherwise we die in this dungeon' to 'there's an actual reward at the end if we can all pull this off'. Combat seems more in-depth too. With more consistent art, overall it's looking like a great step forward. So I just want to say right off that I appreciate the work that has gone into it so far.The setting in Netoria 1 wasn't really planned like most of the narrative elements. Netoria 2 went through much more pre-production.

The portrayl of those events is heavily flavored by what POV you're on. Azar won't be able to see Zaman+Shah scenes directly for example. And the end of Act 1 has a bunch of POV exclusive scenes setting up the story for Act 2.
The above passage should answer some of this, like how in Act 1 all POVs are playing around the same events from different perspectives.
In Act 2 things branch off way more, with the setup done the game becomes about the POV characters really getting into their personal journey and their battle with their POV villain. The way I think you should look at it is essentially the POV system is letting the various routes of the game be much more different than they could have been in Netoria 1. Because they never have to interact what happens on Zaman POV can be drastically different than what happens on Shah POV.
For example, Zaman is a TF focused character. He's a woman for all of Act 2. So all the storylines on his POV in that act revolve around his transformation. But if you play Shah POV, none of that happens and instead it's all about Shah's journey to become a more assertive and confident person, or her failure to. So whichever POV content you find interesting, the whole POV is going to be about that content. There's not really sprinkles of various fetishes or anything. Zaman is all about MtF TF, Shah is all about sharing content (and femboy stuff if you want, it's mostly asthetic), Azar is all about netori, and Vashti is a little more complecated but she's mostly about domination/being dominated.
