I don't think the problem is even AI writing, it's just drole. It's lazy AI writing.

Directly from the game:

Just asking ChatGPT to make it sexier gives it more heft:

Right now the game feels like a Roleplay session that the Dev is just copy and pasting to a twine format (although with an interesting UI)
