Dev Log - October 27, 2024



Hail citizens,
Welcome to the first dev log for episode 6. We're officially in the second half.
I completed the episode plan, wrote about 1k words of dialogue, and made 30 renders this week. Scene 1 out of 13 is complete, and scene 2 is in progress. Would've liked to have done more renders, but unfortunately I got delayed by my HDD dying.
Episode 6 will take you into the Solarium--as eerie as it is beautiful--and further beyond. You'll have the opportunity to help and forge alliances with troubled factions, or leave them in freefall instead.
It'll feature the introduction of the last LI, and a number of choices that will affect the fate of the empire. I won't spoil who the adult scenes are with this time around (a suggestion from you guys).
Thank you guys for continuing to support New Antioch! I'll see you in next week's log.

Decent story and good models! I actually thought some of the twists and turns quite clever, really making you question who to trust and who to put your faith in. Helps that all the girls are obviously team You and so makes for quite the simple story to simply enjoy.

Wow. Loved-lovee-loved this game! It was one of only AVNs i have played where i felt like i could immerse myself and play 'as' the MC. Really incredible writing and work!

I have a bunch of things I don't understand about the plot, though, so if anyone has the time to answer my questions i'd be grateful!

- is the whole story happening as a simulation? Like, i feel like there are moments with Milena and Luciana where it's the future, but after those scenes it is right back to Classical Roman era.

Did you just skip through the game without actually reading anything or something?

- how did Safiya get out of prison? I left her there to rot, didn't speak up for her, amd them a few scenes later she's hanging out with the crew. What the heck?!?

- is there a point to the class selection? I picked 'Warlock', but every fight was either with fists or a sword.

- are there any more women to be added?i haven't got any lewd scenes (because again - playing as 'myself' and no way any of those women would have anything to do with me lol). I'd like to see some more diversity in LIs, as all the ones in the game feel similar.

You can asking, we can just put you on the ignore list, you clearly didn't read anything if you are asking those questions, so after you actually play the game and have a legit question after, we would be happy to answer but until than, no point.

I played everything available. Didn't understand certain things. You all spent more time explaining why you're not answering me than it would take to answer. I mean, i know the standard-issue response on the internet is to be a douchebag, but it's not like i came in hostile. Don't get why everyone's acting so offended.

Dude, what do expect when you ask questions like

- is the whole story happening as a simulation? Like, i feel like there are moments with Milena and Luciana where it's the future, but after those scenes it is right back to Classical Roman era.

It's impossible to miss the answer to that even if you read only half the game....like that is a, if not 'the', core point of the whole story. If you manage to miss that i can only recommend to read it again...
