The story takes place in the future, on the bones of a more advanced human civilization that fell into ruin.
I talked to the Empress about Safiya, as I promised when she gave me help for the final battle. The queen honored my request and set her free.
I did not play the version where you left her imprisoned but, given the story after the MC won his freedom, I surmise that Safiya persuaded the queen to give her a chance to prove herself - specifics unknown since it was not my chosen path.
I don't know that there has been significant variation in the story based on class selection to date; I did not try multiple classes so ...
And yes, as already covered - there will be one more LI.
As to why you are not seeing any lewd scenes - that is likely choice driven since I have enjoyed a significant number of lewd scenes so far, including the MC domination scene with Luciana and her BF - which was Awesome!!!

Wait - so it's the future (fine, dystopia, okay) then WHY - if they are technologically advanced enough to have super advanced equipment like Milena and Luciana use - are swords and spears still the dominant weaponry? That doesn't make sense.. it's like if in a post-apocalyptic world, people all had flying cars but didn't know how to make fire!
I liked it better when i thought it was a simulation lol.

The ruling class in the corrupt empire is hoarding technology, keeping it from everyone else. Most people live a quasi-mediaeval existence, with old tech concentrated in the hands of a privileged few.
It might not really work if you think about it critically for more than a few minutes, but that's the premise.
Other than that:
Safiya cut a deal with Faustina, she tells the MC. There are minor line variations for if the MC had secured her freedom or not.

And the class selection is not real. It describes what class the MC prefers to play as in tabletop RPG's, not his own actual skills and abilities.

I asked to have her free, but the Empress said that she had impressed her. She didn't say it was because I asked to free her. She's a plot character, so unlikely to stay in jail. Isn't one of the tags dystopian setting. The state of the world is described throughout the game. There was a war and a plague, so the society collapsed. Half the dialog is about (spoiler) you being the cure and the resistance not thinking the world is ready for another war?

I just finished the update a few days ago, but I´ve been around this forum, so the ending didn´t caugh me by surprise. If I didn´t know anything, I still don´t know if I would be surprised. The empire finds (or steals) every technology that it can and uses it do develop their capital and it´s most richest members, leaving everyone else in misery. I´m not surprise they would resort to questionable (at best) and inhumane (at worst) measures to maintain it´s status quo.
What Luciana is doing is really fucked up, so much so that even a cunning weasel like Cicero and a sadist like Enzo think she´s gone too far. If these two think you´re bad, you really fucked up. I still want to hear Luciana explain herself, maybe there´s some twist about all this that might make it better or maybe we as a player will have the chance to either solve the situation or just go with it. Also, I can understand Luciana being enthusiastic about the army, it´s her project after all, but that lady they were interrogating was way too happy and proud about it. Calm down, lady.
As for the rest, Gaius is still the best guy in this story, it´s hard not to like him. Aquila was very quick to suggest sharing the MC with Luci and Safi. She just gave her first bj and she´s already fine with taking turns? Will she be open to share with the next LI too? I´d say probably, what´s one more, right?
As for the lewd scenes, I was hoping to have more control over them. Maybe a few position choices and also a cumshot option too. I would also add a gallery to the game.
Cant wait for the next update, I´m really into the story.

I really like this game, the story is actually amazing and I'm invested in this world (worldbuilding is fantastic). I'm genuinely not excited to see the H scenes, I'm playing this for the story. I wouldn't mind if the dev releases a few updates of pure story with minimal or no h scenes. You rarely get games with good story and there are plenty with just h scenes
