As ambitious as Layla is, there is still a good chance we could turn our child against her if she ever gets out of control.Technically yes since you can just stick to one LI and reject everyone else, but I wouldn't say it's rewarding since you skip out on sex scenes in exchange for a different dialogue line here and there.
With the way the story is going though it is possible that you will need to pick a side, but only the dev knows how that will play out.
Yeah, the guy would be a disastrous leader, we don't know if layla will be much better with her lust for power and ambition, but even so, she's a no-brainer compared to the alternative.
We got a sex scene with Luci and Aquila, hardly meaningless.
And where is your game if you wish to avail us of your coding prowess?

Besides murder mystery this update seemed very short. If I remember correctly dev said last LI was to be presented in 0.6. I hope it's still Subject X and dev just run out of time since it ended just outside the vault. I'd rather we could finally see her instead of that scene with Astrid.
I'm surprised to read in game that Layla wraps all men around her finger and then see all the comments in favor of accepting her offer. I don't think MC has the upper hand in this deal. It was also too satisfying to see her being rejected probably for the first time and then thrown by Luminary like a rag doll. Anyway, I accepted the offer on my second save for science reasons but on my original that bitch was burnt to a crisp (you can also bang her and still burn her which is most diabolical).
I think I also saw some quality drop in renders in a couple of scenes but I know it wasn't best development cycle for RedMyst so fingers crossed it's just temporary setback and good luck with the next update.

I think the investigation has several possibilities based on the evidence collected, it is possible that it took a long time

Her kid is part of the chain. And while she could certainly try and betray them, the MC is a black hole when it comes to their powers. They can't see shit when it comes to him personally, and I believe that terrifies them. I believe she knows it's in her best interests to stay on his good side.

She's got some mystery around her but I didn't want to assume she's Subject X because she had little screentime so far and her introduction was kinda disappointing if that's the case. I don't know, since she's supposed to be mutant/special human being and MC's other half I expected someone maybe matching his physique or at least taller but that's just my vision.
Still, it's totally possible that we'll find some empty chamber or something in next update because Dahl might have found her in the vault years ago and raised her.
