yes, she is dangerous...which is also what makes her a very valuable ally. And yeah, MC's abilities (provoking arousal and very strong sexual attraction to him and making women more receptive to his suggestions + more submissive to him + addicted to MC) can't make a slave out of an enemy, but they allow to put a foot in the door of a neutral/friendly woman, and slowly gain ascendency over her. In this case, Layla is already better disposed toward us than neutral (helped her to seize power, she bear our child), and MC's abilities definitely give her hedonist self a reason to keep us alive rather than dispose of us (which, again, we haven't seen any reason for Layla to do so), and make me think on the long term MC will be able to at best grab the reins of the relationship, at worse be an esteemed equal in it.

And tbh, this kind of slow power play is one of the hottest aspect of the game. For exemple Luciana is a super smart woman, politically very powerful, under the influence of her mother and knee deep in an evil machination...and we're currently twisting her around MC's dick, phisically and emotionnally. She already weight positively her care for us against her obedience to her mother, and as MC continue to claim her and sink his hook deeper she'll end up fully under his whims. Personnally I'm hoping to make her discard this foolish cartoonish evil undead legion stuff, overthrow her mother and be the power behind the throne. Not to deviate from the topic of this thread, but as I'm aware, in this game, there was a girl (Livvy?) in the first chapter with whom you could have sex with, that's also having sex with your brother. It's not very willingly, and it's not shown, only mentioned during a talk, but yeah, it's there. I don't know if the dialogue it's still there, and that girl wasn't supposed to be LI, however I stopped playing the game because that's not a type of content that I like, specially in a harem game. Also, I think that the dev hinted to the presence of sharing in the future, though I'm not 100% sure of that, as soon as I saw how unclear he was with those topics, I immediately ignored the game. So, just a fair warning for those like me who might not be comfortable with that stuff
There's also an unavoidable lesbian scene in the introduction, but dev didn't considered it as "lesbian" because it was between two hetero women (I don't think they were LIs either, don't remember exactly).

MC's "brother" is a paranoid schitzophrenic who later kills their "father". So no, I don't take into account any relationship there. I don't even remember the "lesbian scene", so it must be very minor. If you can manage to get past it, I think you will enjoy the story. It's really very good.

If you assure that there's no sort of sharing or sex behind MC's back (only some girls being maybe too horny slutty while talking ), then I guess I won't mind giving it another go in the future.

It's been a while since I played the beginning of the game but I am pretty sure the brother is pretty much a loser, I don't remember anything with him and Livvy and no there is no sharing it's not that kind of game the only thing here is Netori (you steal the girl) check the main post for more info on planned tags.

Like I said, it's been a while for me as well. And yes, the brother is an ass, that much I remember, and he used Livvy, I recall that as well. It's just how everything unfolded, how everyone was talking about past sexual experiences (Livvy speaking about his "brother", Tabitha, etc.). I've never been a fan of that, although I admit that I had a lower threshold for that type of content before; it's still a tad uncomfortable, but I guess I can overlook it more now. But that, mixed with the comments and some stuff, made me stop playing the game at that moment. I don't want to flood this thread talking about another game though, and I apologize if I was misinformed with my statement of the game, I spoke from memory. Just wanted to give a warning since, while there can be similarities in the setting as such, is not exactly like New Antioch, so I wanted to point out some differences first.

If anything, to me the game already redeemed itself. Start of the game was a bit rough: MC's behavior/dialogue (and Kylo Ren copy pasted look, haircup really was necessary lel) sometimes strained my suspension of disbelief, the "game inside the game" D&D bit felt unnecessary and weird so early on and the fact that its images are used in this thread's preview is kinda misleading, and just the flow of things in general felt pretty awkward.

Now I'd say the dev found his pace, the plot had time to form and engage, the characters to get consistency, some impactful choices to show up, and last update felt like a good adventure with an unnusual gameplay loop that felt nice for a change, we advanced in the plot (and got the setup for important plot progression next update) and got the hottest sex scene yet (Luciana hmmm). It clearly got better compared to the start.

I hate minigames, but this wasn't really one of those and I think the choice you make there is going to have a big impact later on (I think).

Do you kill the hot chick who has promised help in exchange for a fuck? (even is she did kill the asshole)

Do you kill the woman who got her ass kicked for catching her BF cheating?

I'd be annoyed if every chapter turned into its own mini-game but I don't think that's where we're going.

I mean, a game whose story is excellent, with a plot filled with intricacies, complex and unique world-building, outstanding visuals, whose LIs are HOT, with a strong-willed MC, hateful villains, interesting side characters, in-game variety (interrogations, combats, detective activities) within the limits of an AVN... surely needs redemption, right?

Hail citizens,
I finished up one more scene (iirc that's 7/15 scenes done so far), with some longer ones coming up. This scene was pretty fun to write and render because of its plot impact, and I think it came out really well. Not much else to report in this log really. Gonna be working on the next scene, creating some new chars, and trying out a couple of new environments. Have a good one guys.

Hope you're all doing well. I've nearly completed another scene (that'll be 8/15) which was thankfully easy to render, unlike the last one. I did some rearrangement of the mid-episode scenes this week as well. Removed one that was redundant and replaced it with one that shines more light on Faustina, giving you an opportunity to sway her one way or another. The removed scene wasn't rendered yet so no harm done really. I'm also expecting to make a bit more progress than usual in the coming week since my schedule's a little freer.

Hey everyone,

I had a pretty productive week with rendering, completing another scene and making good progress on the next. The scene I finished became much larger than planned because I kept thinking of extra dialogue and moments to add, but that also made it a lot better.

Not a whole lot else to add. The scene I'm working on atm is an adult one but I won't spoil who with. It's shaping up really well imo. I'm being conservative with the % estimates because I have two giga-scenes left to do, both of which have 3+ unique environments. Very hard to predict how long they'll take, but overall progress is good.

Tell me I wasn’t the only one who read that codex expecting all the northern giants to be 25–30-year-olds, and then got shocked when the Dahl/All-Father showed up and the codex said he’s an old man of 66.
