I understand, thanks for the answer, but during the game, whenever I did something that increased this Fondness, it also increased the romance. In this case, should I buy the Fondness instead of making choices?

My gameplay is focused on corruption and submission benefiting John, in this case increasing the Fondness doesn't influence anything, correct?

This can only occur if you went for the asuka patreon scene instead of the usual options , the demo scene does not give any variable so you'd have to go back to where she pcks the choice to go subways to get the variable.

Correct those stats do not affect john rather don't have fondness or romance at all if that's the route you're taking.

From what i understand Fondness its not romance, but attraction, or sexual tension of sorts. I currently have Xia´s fondness at 8, i bought fondness for her this update, Natusku is at 6, they are the only characters i have with fondness.

Hi, thanks for responding. For instance, the two icons on the upper right, I guess they are giving you the level of corruption, but, it tells you nothing. You should be able to click on the icons and see some sort of stats. Like level of corruption, sex stats, money gained from doing lewd things, etc. The list of pictures on the left, tells you about that person, but, it should be telling you where you stand on a corruption level with that person.
On a regular page, you see some kind of stats on some people, actually just a number for "fondness" and then a money bag.
As great as your game and story is, I find that these "stats" don't fit the overall story. That is just my humble opinion. Maybe, having a phone icon that has all these stats, or a diary would serve the game better.

The money stat is the purse on left , it shows exactly how much you have.

As for the corruption stat it's not meant to be numbers but rather a metter based , once the purple heart is full and some other conditions are met in chapter 3 the game changes enitrely.

Secondly I think we can perhaps fix the ui once chapter 2 ends but right now if i do anything the save system will get fucked over sadly.

also since you do like UI in this sense I recommend our other game dilemma of devotion!

Updated my compressed Android port of New Beginnings in Japan Chapter 2 to v0.6.7.

Got some basic gestures loaded in: swipe up for save menu, swipe down to hide UI, swipe left to rollback and swipe right to skip. Save files are now stored in the Documents folder. This sometimes means that you may need to close and re-open the port after installing so the save folder is properly created.

Please let me know if you encounter any issues with the port and I'll see what I can do to get them sorted.

That shouldnt happen I downloaded the gofile version and played it myself , which are you downloading?

Ironically, it's the GoFile version that I downloaded. I've tried downloading the PC version three times now, but the same issue keeps occurring. It downloads as 0.6.7, but it unpacks as 0.6.6 when I go to extract it. Playing it also confirms that it is verison 0.6.6.
