No, please do not do that. (And I think you will get errors) The plotlines in the reboot is slightly different to the Current 1.2 version. Rather just wait until the Reboot catches up with the Current 1.2. The dev plans to have the reboot done in the next month or so, so the wait will not be too long.

I'm waiting but we are in June and the game is not at version 1.2

HG was aiming to release 1.2 of the reboot before the end of May but likely within a week or two is my guess

I just want to spare you a lot of frustration:
The 1.2 pre-reboot that is out there is very buggy. Especially if you start from the beginning. The reason for that is that some of code for the reboot accidently slipped into that version as he was already busy with the reboot at the time. For people that played the old 1.0 and 1.2, it was no issue, since they just continued from their save and the content for version 1.1 and 1.2 were not effected, but people playing from the start ran into a lot of bugs.

I can not tell you what to play. If you want to play the old 1.2, then who am I to stop you? Just remember that you can not use the saves to play on the reboot again.

Have you played the game already? Up to version 1.0 is a LOT of content. 70 in-game days. And there is a lot of stuff to do everyday. It will probably take you a couple of days to play through it. Think 10 minutes per day for 70 days = 700 minutes (around 11 hours and 40 minutes. ) The way I play it, takes a lot more time.


TLDR; Play the old version if you want, but play the old version at you own risk. It is very buggy and it saves will not be compatible with the reboot.

Yup, I´ve (and the rest of us) been waiting since 1.2 was released, can´t remember when December maybe..? But this isn´t a virtual pissing contest of who´s been waiting the longest, it´s irrelevant.

Take this as a lesson NEVER to take for granted that what you read or get told is true, most people talk out of their ass and at best they give you their honest predictions, no more no less.

As I said my guess is a week or two from now, might be tomorrow, might be another 3 months,only HG can really know to be honest.
If that´s a problem for you stop your support on patreon, you have that priviledge to make yourself heard.
If you don´t support on patreon then please don´t whine about updates, it´s pointless and dilutes the thread.

Sidenote, I just recently replayed the reboot from scratch and to me the reboot and the original are almost two comletely different games. I helped in testing the reboot and stillt here was alot of content that was new to me, just saying..

yes.. is good reason to replay... but i will wait until 1.3 or more... I'm not in hurry because this is games is not full fill all my preferred tags... so i'm not in hurry at all.

at least i have a good idea about what this game can offer as I just played the 1.2 version

Anyway I continue to don't understand why rebooting a game that is already published with all renders ready take so long to be ready

I know I'm behind schedule, but while I was building the reboot I added/changed several things and the optimization of some paths was very complicated. Also there was the Covid emergency that delayed me a lot. And honestly, even though I'm now very calm psychologically I'm not working at the same pace I had before. (maybe because my girlfriend in the last three months has always been at home with me while before she was away every other week for work)

Anyway I've added in 1.1 (and 1,2) a lot of choice (new scenes) in porn manager path.
I rebuild all the porn manager mechanics
I add new complete sex scenes for some Characters.
I rebuild all the sex scenes mechanincs
I've added path and track a lot of variables to be linear in the new releases.
It's a big work. And who checked the scripts know how much things are in it

I would advise everyone to wait at least until reboot of 1.2 is here, or even until HoneyGames makes 1.3 (for those who played 1.2 before reboot happened). This will take some time but there are a lot of other games here that you can enjoy while you wait. Of course, you can support HoneyGames on Patreon if you want to try new versions earlier.

It's not just a bugfix. There are new paths, a couple of new characters or characters introduced differently... and interactions between the storylines.
I rendered again some of the sex scenes and I've add more sex scenes.
I've add path.
I fixed a lot of dialogue creating more deep connections between characters
I mean. It's alot of work. It's not just a grammar check and fix a couple of bugs. I rewrite most of dialogue to follow the new paths divisions.

maybe i'm wrong but for me until the 0.8 there was no sense to continue to play why i finished the 1.2 so...

I have found "The Follower" in this thread that is such a very good game

I will wait until the 1.2 or 1.3 will be out even the game with more than 10 characters are not my favourite
because too much dispersive... more characters requirs a lot of concentration and the fun will easly disappears

when a lot of characters are in the game I usually do not like because only 3 or 4 characters are really interesting
or I skip all the scenes where there are characters that I don't like

...by the way my preference are focused on Kristen that is the most interesting character on this saga .. and I think she deserve to be in a new game with her as MC.
I'm not usually interested in male protagonist game
I'm interested in women

I'm not a magician that can see into the future.
lol...so I was out by a month. You asked me at the end March and I said in a month or so (so end of April), it's now just past end of May, so a month later and from my information, it will be out soon.

I have been Waiting for "Winds of Winter" since 2011 already. In the bigger scheme of things, a month does not seem like the end of the world to me.

You're entitled to your opinion - if it's not for you then so be it. You may not notice too many differences but the dev certainly knows. What I can say is that if you do continue and start with saves from the old 1.2 when rebooted 1.3 is released then don't complain if you get errors.

You can play with multiple paths, focussing on one or more girls at a time - it has that flexibility.
