I was a bit annoyed the game was started over instead of progressing the story further but I've gotta say I'm really enjoying the new additions

After the new updates and saves didn't work, it's hard to start again and play everything from the beginning. Is there another way to fix the saves
The saves for 0.2? It takes you less then 30min, less if you skip and speedrun, to replay and get to the 0.3 content. How is that a problem?

I guess where I stacked is about season 1, comeback patch after the abandoned tag times.
S1 is a completely different game called Follower (Unity engine) so those saves would never be compatible.
The last reboot of the game had progressed several months longer in the story so those could not be compatible either..
Saves not being compatible is the nature of a reboot.
So that leaves us with the recent 0.2.. correct?

Here we are with some new updates on the work.
Things are moving along fairly well. Unfortunately, I have a few small technical hiccups, things that I'm not managing to do (like creating some screens, technical stuff related to Ren'py) because of some settings in the original version of the game.
But I won't bore you with these details.
Let's talk about the positive things and the feelings I have while working on this new release. New Coral is coming to life and the level of immersion in the game is increasing fantastically, in my opinion.
I'm adding events and details to the game, of course, even new scenes, I'm making some triggers less cumbersome in order to make the game as smooth and realistic as possible and I have to say I'm totally satisfied.
I'm not making any predictions about the next release, it's not close yet. But the work is continuing.
Feel free to write in the comments things you would like to know about the game, I will respond with new posts as done about Melissa, the dynamics of the shootings. If you want to understand some storylines and some small spoilers I think I can satisfy you. Obviously, I won't give away major spoilers on the plots, but maybe some indications of events that will happen in the upcoming releases.
The only thing of interest is the one thing he doesn't want to adress, when we can expect the new patch. Everything else is kinda moot..

What I want to know is if we will get new Tatianna and Rebecca scenes before the inevitable next reboot.

I just the bugs about music not playing and instagram are fixed in the next build released. Whenever that may be.

As you may have seen, perhaps, in the last episode, the relationship with David in this rebuild is managed differently. Many complained that David wasn't a true friend and was a "pain in the ass" most of the time. Unfortunately, that direction was taken. In the rebuild, there will always be the possibility that David turns out to be a "nuisance," but there will be many more opportunities for Buddy Moves, both from his side (like sharing Lucille in week 3) and from the MC's side.
In general, the relationships with many male characters will be different in this rebuild. Starting from Luke, up to Connor, of course passing through the legendary Mark Buchannon.
Of course, to have benefits, it will always be necessary to give something, but not all male characters will necessarily be enemies. (some surprises will come from work colleagues, an aspect that I am developing in a much more detailed way. Starting from Rupert to some other secondary characters who will be part of the game and who are part of the Elita magazine editorial team. To make the work side of the game more immersive (and satisfying) (with all the benefits that can come with it, yes, I'm talking about the kind of benefits that interest those who play this game).
The development of week 4 is progressing quite well, I don't make predictions since making predictions has always brought me bad luck, but be confident, there's not much left.

Michelle was in The King is Back as well as Melissa. Harley was in NCCU and also in The King is Back. Adele was in Sexduction like Rachel (who will appear much later in this game), as was MJ who continues to work in the clothing store. Tatianna was in NCCU and The King is Back. Ashley appeared in Sexduction (without scenes) and in The King is Back. Lara appeared in Sexduction (and will appear in this game) as well as Belen. Zoe was also in Sexduction and then in Snake Thompson, etc.

If that is so...
you have to ask for edit the OP! and put Follower in season 1 and correct the actual season 1 spoiler as the aborted first attempt of the season 2
This will avoid further confusion in the future!

As someone who has bounced when the start screen for "Season 1" as labeled on the OP declares itself as "Season 2". And then when I downloaded OP's "Season 2" it was... mostly the same as "Season 1"?
I made the effort to dig through the comments because it clearly looks like my kinda game. Some more overt language on the OP pointing to "Follower" as Chapter 1 and not simply a prequel would be awesome.
