Does the old version always end at the night after the party, or is it path dependent?

Asking because it doesn't have a "save here" type screen, just kicks you to main menu.

Maybe HG makes 2 - 3 updates in a year with one week by update. 60 days are missing until day 95. These are 8 - 9 weeks. So we are talking about realistic 4 years until we reach the old version of 1.55. Just saying...

Saying what exactly?... What is your intention with this post? To motivate HG to go faster somehow, or to get the player base to unfollow this thread and move on?
Do we all wish we could have the latest game match the number of days/content in 1.55, of course... but that isn't going to happen no matter how many posts whine, complain etc.
I assume you are a fan of the game. Have you played the latest release??, do you have any constructive comments to make to HG about what IS currently in the game?

Honestly it is better to avoid clear estimates, especially with the scope of this project and its hurdles. it's a lose lose situation for everyone.

I'm more curious about the still "unavailable" girls of the game, if it's possible to expand on that. A few of them like Tatianna (be it for swapping, or as a single target), Elsa, Vanessa etc have been a really slow burn, with no end in sight, with the remake that happened. I'd add Andrea to the list, but I'm guessing that like Irene and Kirsten, she's major enough and will just be addressed eventually anyway

Are they still going to be on the same trajectory? are they going to be available, or something more like Helga, a story unavailable companion, and just a tease ?

I’m currently posting a series of updates on Patreon (split into multiple parts) to answer this kind of question.


Tatianna, Elsa, Vanessa, and even Andrea will each have their moment. None of them are planned to have a full, long-term girlfriend route — but there will definitely be multiple interesting moments with all of them.


They’re all slow-burning routes, but compared to the previous version of the game, some of them will move a bit faster. (You’ve already had a few teases with Tatianna… I’m not saying everything will happen within a week, but there will be a solid escalation.)


Of course, all of these girls are already in relationships — so for anything to happen, something else usually has to happen first.

It’s too early to talk about that.
The idea is to create more seasons in the future, but with different MCs.
They would still be set in New Coral, so that some of the characters I’ve created can reappear later on. (Just like in this game, where you already meet characters from almost all my previous games — they already have storylines and traits, which makes it easier for me to build stories and context around them.)


Unfortunately, those older games were developed in Unity and were kind of a mess — mostly sandbox-style.
Maybe in the future I’ll turn some of those stories into something more like comic books… but again, it’s definitely too early to talk about that right now.

I’d need to double-check to be sure — maybe I can adjust some stats related to that.
Generally speaking, if the option to refuse her didn’t show up, it’s probably because some of your choices implied you were open to having sex with her.
Day 21 is the day of the blackmail involving Bernie, so if you’re there, chances are there was already some underlying sexual interest — and if not, then one or more of your answers likely placed you on that path anyway.


You can still choose to ignore her later.
Starting from Week 4, the scenes only happen if you voluntarily go to her house.
Same goes for the shop — you meet her there and follow her into the fitting rooms by choice

I looked more into code of (day 21) and it turns out that sex with her is mandatory if meadowplanbernie >= 5:
Then I looked into my save and saw that value of "planbernie" in my save is 10 (don't know how I accumulated so much those points).

Was lazy to replay everything and track growth of "planbernie" after each choice, so since at day 16, after picking "There is no need" choice, result is "$ meadowdecline += 1", in "day 21" script I replaced "if meadowplanbernie >= 5:" with "if meadowdecline < 1:" (so that not declining her "offer" at day 16 leads to mandatory sex) and it worked, instead of mandatory sex I got those additional choices, either to bang her or to reject her.

First time i'm disapointed in a NCC update. Bugs aside; there's too many useless characters now.

I don’t understand in other games when you tell a girl to duck off there path closes forever, not in this game, Yvette and Maude pop up more than the girls I wanna bang. Also can we skip picking the music to listen to every damn morning. How about just keep what was picked and if we want to change it we’ll go preferences menu and change there

Welcome to the second part where I talk about the various characters in New Coral, giving you a few hints about their storylines — trying not to spoil too much of what’s coming.

RAIN & LARS
Their storyline is progressing as planned. You’ll be able to try and keep the couple together and befriend Lars, or take advantage of Rain. The situation is similar to the original, but with more detail — and at a certain point, there will be choices that will define Rain’s path in a more specific way.

PINKY
Introduced in the latest release. If you played the original game, you already know who she is and what her presence could lead to. As you’ve seen, that world has also been expanded, with new side characters that mix into different friend groups.

MICHELLE
We’re also getting close to a key moment in her storyline. So far, you’ve had the chance to take her to the movies — and maybe that went well for you. In the next update, you’ll face the first real branching point, and from there, you’ll decide how deep you want to go with her. Like Yvette, her route was one of the more complete ones in the original version, and we’ll continue along that line (with some differences, of course).

ASHLEY
Ashley’s also nearing her first major branching point. If anything is going to happen with her, it’ll happen in Week 6. From there on, you’ll get to decide whether to maintain or end the relationship.

TATIANNA
By popular demand, I’ve made things move faster with her. If you’re not busy chasing Ashley, chances are you’ve had the opportunity to get closer to Tatianna. It’s going to be a slow burn that requires several things to go right… but it’ll be much more fun — and less frustrating — than in the older version.

CONNOR
It’s now clear that (at least for the time being) the only exchange Connor is interested in involves Kirsten. Still, you can choose to become his friend — after all, you’ve seen there’s a whole team of runners…

LUKE
In the latest release, he started to be more than just “the guy who bangs Luana.” If you’re on good terms with him, he might be useful (like Debra). As a rival for Luana, he’s not that essential — he’ll only be with her if you’re not around… assuming you can actually get Luana, of course.

ANDREA, MADELYNE, YOSHI
Grouping them together here. We’ve now reached the execution of Madelyne’s plan. The story will follow a similar direction to the original, except now I’ve introduced Madelyne’s friends and teased a few of Andrea’s. The world is expanding, and many new situations may arise. In the next release, you’ll get to know Andrea’s friends a bit better. As for Jeanie… a small but very interesting path might finally open up.

MARK
First of all, I’ve created a new model for Mark — similar to the old one, but way easier and more realistic when it comes to posing and expressions. Including Mark was becoming complicated, but now it’s much smoother.
As for Mark himself… well, you know who he is. He’ll keep surprising you, offering you opportunities… and terrible advice.

 

[Canto Forte]

In this game plot armor is essential to Maud and to Daniel - htey are the Diddy OP characters, did you not read the read map dev has for MC: be their side kick to access their parties and get the scraps they throw him.

The other characters are on rails, because only MC and these two are essential to keep the swinging simp life of MC alife throughout the game. MC cannot steal girls, he cannot be a better Maud or a better Daniel: MC has to endure under their wing to even have a chance.

With such a spineless MC, it is paramount somne girls keep up their assault, or else MC would simply fade into nothingness.

Every single one of the new girls has a partner they diddle when MC is too busy sucking up to Daniel or to MAud to notice.

Truth be told i was aiming to split Rain and Lars without her becoming a pornstar. But it kept circling to that option. We'll see how it goes now
