Quick Update
Right now, it’s holiday season here in Italy — and I’m not sure if it’s the same everywhere else — but here we often do what's called a
“ponte” (literally “bridge”), meaning if there’s a public holiday mid-week, people take an extra day or two off to create a long weekend.
So, between traveling to see family, my girlfriend being off work, and me catching the flu (yeah, lucky me), I haven’t progressed as much as I’d hoped on the game lately.
That said, I
have made some progress — and my PC has been working almost nonstop, rendering even while I’m away from home.
I’ve revised the Monday evening event and started working on Tuesday.
But I’d like to talk a bit about some characters — especially
Meadow and
Rebecca, since I’ve spent a lot of time building out their content in this release.
Meadow gets a new scene that’s going to be really fun and quite interesting — plus her new dialogues mark a real turning point in your relationship with her.
As for Rebecca, I’ve added even more depth to the dialogue between her and the MC. The friendship path with her is becoming more and more layered — and for now, that’s the most you can get from her. (Yeah, I know a lot of you want to “unlock” all the girls right away, but if that happened, the game would quickly get boring. Rebecca has her own storyline to unfold — and while it’ll move faster than in the original version, no, she’s not just going to throw herself at you out of nowhere. That’s not her.)
Alongside Madelyne, Meadow and Rebecca are currently the most developed characters in the game — the ones you share the deepest and most varied dialogues with.
Soon,
Michelle will join this little group too. Her new event is already written, and a major turning point is coming — in fact, it’ll happen in
Week 6.
Today I’m heading out again and will be away until Sunday. I’ve already queued up a few hundred renders for my trusty PC to keep working on while I’m gone, and I’m bringing my laptop along to keep working on a specific Tuesday afternoon scene... I’m honestly so excited about the upcoming content that I feel like spoiling everything — but I’ll hold back.
Wishing you all a great weekend — and I’ll be back next week with more updates.
(Actually, I’ve got two or three new ideas I’d like to share... but let’s take it one step at a time.)
