I know—I’ve been trying to improve my “day-to-day” communication and updates compared to the past.
It’s not easy since I’m constantly on the move. I managed to set up a workflow that allows me to keep things moving forward even while I’m traveling: I focus on story development while I’m away, and my desktop at home keeps rendering. When I’m back, I gather all the material and prepare new render files that my PC can then work on while I’m gone again.

It’s a complex process to handle, especially with such a large story and so many branching storylines, but after months of trial and error I think I’ve finally reached a balance. In a few months the new release should be ready, and if it turns out as good as I expect (and not a complete mess full of bugs caused by this new workflow), then I’ll know I’m on the right track.

I just got back from Madrid this afternoon, slept a couple of hours, ate something, and now I’m opening the files again…

Here’s a little spoiler of something I’ll be talking about on my Patreon: starting with this release, there will be more “self-contained” stories (similar to what I’ve experimented with in past releases). These stories won’t affect the main flow of the game, but they might return in future releases (if unlocked).

Given the sheer number of characters and the impossibility of adding major updates for each of them in every single release, some of the new characters will serve as interesting variations on the theme—adding depth and also replay value. In fact, I believe it’ll be impossible to unlock all storylines and characters in just one playthrough. When you replay the game, not only will you be able to make different choices with the main characters, but you’ll also get the chance to explore different side stories and unlock new situations.

This was already present in previous chapters, but now, as the plot gets more layered, it becomes even more central.
I'm looking forward to the next update :p

Honestly no, but I’m glad you noticed that similarity.

As for the ever-growing number of characters—like I’ve said many times before, this game is meant to be the foundation for a whole “universe.” Yes, it’s taking me a long time to build it, but right now the plan in my head is coming together exactly the way I wanted.
To make it a universe, you need a lot of characters—it’s an entire city (or at least a set of characters for every sphere of life).

In the future, having developed this level of depth will allow me to create other games, with different MCs, much more easily. That’s why I think it’ll all be worth it.
Some of my characters already came from my earlier games. At some point I realized that giving continuity to certain characters could create, moving forward, an environment where many different stories could be told, with a believable background already in place. That way I don’t have to start from scratch every time, but instead I can keep adding details as things happen—making the characters more “credible,” more detailed, and with actions and behaviors that truly feel like the consequence of their life experiences.
you are right , the game feels on another whole level with the number of characters and plotlines. It also helped that there were previous games that already made it an expanded universe , the only complaint unfortunately is the time it takes to develop and the release between updates (without taking into account the rework ). 6 Years if pfff way too much for any game here .

sadly the long dev time is all too common with games that have been around for several years such as this one. many games just get abandoned for whatever reason. fair enough but always leave me feeling like i wasted my time playing it. the there are the games that keep having a rework after 1 or 2 years of story. then takes an equal amount of time or longer for the rework to catch up storywise. i often get invested in a story then have to replay from the start due to not remembering much of it. some games are worth replaying. this one is in my opinion, and i try to wait patiently for the next update.

Honestly, I think this rework really adds a lot to the original version of the game. I don’t believe it’s just about “getting back to the point where the game had previously stopped.” There’s much more now, and above all, many of the storylines evolve in very different ways.

The relationships with some of the “core” girls can now develop in completely new directions. (For example, the depth of the storylines with Madelyne or Meadow— I’m mentioning them because they’re among the first ones to kick off, chronologically, in the game). The way the relationship with Irene unfolds (starting in Week 6) will also be completely different.

Same for Yvette—after the events of Week 5, her storyline needs much stronger foundations compared to just “a one-night stand and moving on.” Ashley’s path (and consequently Tatianna’s) is now much more defined and structured, with clearer limits. For example, the flirting with Tatianna, if you don’t pursue Ashley, already starts in the previous weeks.

Everything involving Maud and Kirsten (and what happens before and during the Maud parties) now has a different weight as well—it unlocks or supports many other aspects of the game, especially in terms of building a network of connections that’s very useful for the professional side of the story.

And speaking of the professional side, both in Elita Magazine and at the HoneyGirls agency, there’s a lot more content.

So I think reducing everything to “just catching up to where the game was before” is a very superficial analysis.
Of course, it may not appeal to everyone to dive into all these new layers, but this is the direction I want the game to evolve.

I’m well aware that the current slow pace of releases is a major problem. I’d like to be able to put out at least three releases a year, and I’m confident that once certain systems are streamlined, it’ll become possible.

I’m also working on “shortening” the overall game length—so that reaching the end of the story will require fewer releases. That way, I’ll then be able to use this universe to create new games, designed with a faster pace in mind, and provide players with fresh projects that can be developed more quickly with more consistent updates. (For example: in this release alone, there will be about twice as many new sex scenes as it’s possible to unlock in a single playthrough.)

Total shame this game never got finished. I love it so much I would have paid $79.99 for the completed version. Was disappointed like 10 years ago that never happened.

Okay, I think it’s time to give you an update. Sorry again— you know I suck at keeping a regular schedule with these updates, no matter how hard I try.
Anyway, I’m working on the game whenever I get the chance (just so you know, it’s 2 AM on a Saturday right now, and instead of being out having fun like I probably should, I’m sitting at my computer doing renders, writing dialogues, and typing this post… which should tell you that working on this game is actually fun for me).
So, updates… I’m moving forward and trying to piece everything together. Like I mentioned before, I had gotten pretty far with the writing but had fallen way behind with the renders. Now I’m still behind on renders, but I’m catching up.
I slowed down a bit with the dialogues and the story, but let’s say I’ve reached Saturday evening. With the renders I’m at Friday evening. The upside is that I’m getting closer to the end of the in-game week—and trust me, a million things happen in this one.
Since I’m planning to cut a couple of chapters from the total game, things are getting more condensed. But that’s not a bad thing—if you miss something, you can always replay it. There are so many options and paths to take that you definitely won’t get bored. And like I’ve said before, it’s literally impossible to see “everything” in a single playthrough. Some choices will inevitably lock out others.
I’ll leave you with some images. I still need to do some post-work on the renders, but here’s a little preview in the meantime.

The first image in this post is part of one of the possible combinations (Rebecca and Lucrezia... and who the hell is Lucrezia, right?) for a photoshoot in a campaign the Main Character will have to do during the week. (There are a total of 9 different model pairings...)
For example, in the picture below you can see another possible combination (Jennifer and Varya... and who the hell is Varya, right?)

Don’t worry, it’s not like every model you see in the game will come with a full storyline of her own… I mean, that’d be completely insane, right? (…or would it?)
Anyway—here’s Giulia and Gloria chilling at the beach...

Oh, and then things happen and the MC ends up having a very interesting conversation with his dear brother Julian... Because hey, we don’t really want to drag every storyline forever, do we?

Okay, fair enough—you probably weren’t that interested in seeing Julian’s ugly mug anyway...

Okay, some girls from the Mosquito Party... (did I told you about the Mosquito Party? Don't get David upset or you'll never know about it...)

yeah, that party could be reaaaaaaaally cool.... don't mess up

My reply was deleted because it was considered a “personal attack.”
What I actually wrote was an invitation to stop bullsh1ttin

Saying that my releases are “5 minutes of gameplay” is a personal attack, a lie, and a provocation.
So I guess it depends on what you decide to consider a personal attack.

No one is forcing you to wait for my new releases, no one is forcing you to play my game, and no one is forcing you to leave random (and clearly bad-faith) comments. Anyone who has actually played my game knows perfectly well that you can’t do anything in 5 minutes. Most likely you’re downloading it for free, so at least don’t spread things that aren’t true.

There are thousands of other games out there that might suit your taste better, and you’re free to share your opinion on those instead.

I’ve always accepted criticism and feedback, and I’m open to discussion. But if someone comes here saying I spend a year making a release that lasts 5 minutes, I won’t accept it — and yes, it makes me upset

That isn't a personal attack bro it's an opinion :ROFLMAO:.

I haven't played the game in a while so I have no idea how much of an exaggeration it is to say the update is short or not but this is a pirate forum, in general the people commenting are probably not going to have the nicest things to say and or more likely to voice their displeasure.

It sounds to me like you'd be better off not reading comments on here if it effects you that much. People have expectations, if they feel like they aren't met naturally they would be upset even if you perceive it to be them "personally attacking you" they are just voicing their opinion. You chose how to take something, it's all perspective. Same comment could be viewed positively that people are willing to wait an entire year for an update and are sad that it was short because they like the game.

My advice would be to avoid engaging in it, it's obvious that it's not beneficial for you to do so. Or reframe the way you look at it. Just my two cents.

Difficult topic. I have to say, I haven't expected anything from NCC for a long time. After the abrupt end of the old version 1.55, I was done with it. Personally, I still consider it a mistake and think HG shouldn't have canceled the game back then. A remake would always have been possible later.
But there seems to be a general negative trend in the porn game industry: canceling games at their peak and remaking them with revised technologies. Summertime Saga & TAC are just two other prominent examples.
But it's the artistic freedom of everyone who creates content. You just have to expect that you'll receive more criticism than money for it.
Will I continue playing the remake? Sure! Will I spend money on it? No, not until the new version reaches the old version 1.55. But I don't think I'd be able to survive until 2060. Sorry, just kidding. ;)
But I'm past the point of blaming HG for this. It's his right to do whatever he wants with NCC.

this is why i will never give money to support any dev. cause they remake or abandon projects with no notice whatsoever. i will happily play games that are released for free and avoid those that hide content behind a paywall. so many games get abandoned without being finished. some have quick endings since the dev gets bored with it and wants to move on. which is totally fine. and i don't mind waiting a year for a top quality game such as BADIK.
that said i played the original version of NCC ALOT. i tried many paths and was disappointed when the rework was announced. i was enjoying the beginning of revenge on Yoshi and the possibility of taking Tatianna away from that asshole Connor. i have a few other LI's i like but Tatianna is by far, my favorite.
