I'm not busy with the Milan fashion show, unfortunately there is no more fashion show due to Covid... but i was busy because of covid, i had a family bereavement and i went back and forth to italy several times in the last three weeks. I'm trying to get the game and the release done. I understand your impatience but the guys working with me know how complex this game is and I think they understand how much concentration is needed to not make a big mess. Future releases I hope will be much faster, but I guarantee you won't be disappointed with this release when it's done. I'm doing a very big job and improving the renders in the meantime.

Sorry to hear about the family bereavement - my condolences

As one of the guys working with you on the release to bug find/fix I can confirm the complexity and picking the wrong variable to check or getting a variable wrong can lead to path problems like you say and a lot of concentration is sometimes needed. The renders are much better and a couple of animations are now included.

Dev has already mentioned on Patreon that the release will be in 2 parts Days 99-104 (Mon-Sat) - about the size of a normal release - and Day 105 (Sun - 'Savior of our Freedom' party) - also about the size of a normal release.

Please be patient, remember the Dev had a family bereavement which meant losing the best part of 3 weeks with travelling - and most of the bugs/path problems should be caught before the release this time. The odd few may slip through due to the shear complexity and testers/fixers don't necessarily play all paths.

i'm not a developer, but it still seems to me as a lOOOOOOOOOOT of time, or very few hours per day for the project, more like 10 minutes
also with the new machine for rendering, with this kind of delay i would expect to see all the renders redone or at least a lot more per update.
i really like this project , this is why i would expect higher standards and a chance for it to move forward, maybe towards full time work.

i hate when people mislead.yes lot of devolopers didnt care here he is here writing explaining and im not paying so i dont have right complaining maybe but i trust him

at November he said waiting new pc he delayed becouse of that.he said 1-2 week after pc arrive work.so mid october till now past mid February past 4 month and always state im almost done waiting new pc render done no i re do render im almost done no im at %50.well at 4 month if not done when 3 month ago said its almost ready waiting new pc .which past 3 month till he get new pc.

so thx god he get new pc otherwise end of summer maybe next patch


i seen abandoned so small tiny updates for milking patreons kind games but this first for me.

yes not everyone can do monthly u update specially some people done like tiny updates so dont mind waiting

at 2-3 month he can do new patch

im uessing he said one for me and other ask he plan finish this part 1.8 update with maybe he not ready what he gone afterwards and slowed down so hang on people on updates patreons.if he work decently and now 1.6 came etc he wont be able enough profit done and didnt ready 3. wave game with new mc different kind game play with.maybe this sound harsh but i lost trust.

till new year like everyday i open here hope to see 1.5 was wait more eagerly then wow shadowland.one player here trying do pool can be update around xmas or not.i bet he was think how naive i was for beliving him.

again if he said i will be delayed then again i didnt piss of this much.now i fell like played and fooled

still i check this page evert few day max 3-4 day not anymotre eagerly daily bases.i lost hope and even honey say next week coming i wont trust him.
after big brother author top my hate list few blank and now i write down like 5. honey.

Unfortunately, I've had some family issues that have further slowed down the development of the game.
I've had to travel a lot lately.
The good news is that I am now back working on the game full time.
As you know thanks to the new PC I'm also redoing some renders (it doesn't take much time, I can do them while writing the code).
Release 1.5a is almost ready. The code is at 75%.
I should be able to release by February 25/26.
1.5b (with the last day and the savior of our freedom party) will be ready probably a week later (with more renders done again and, I hope, some new features that will make the game more enjoyable)

Let's hope it pans out this time then..

Some of you may think it's taking a long time to do this update. Yeah, it is taking longer than normal - lets look at the reasons why:

(1) There's only one person on the writing/graphics side of things and that's HoneyGames . With the addition of Alfius (who separately looks after the character stats) there are a few volunteer bug finders/fixers/testers. Compare that to the likes of Where The Heart Is - a great game that has a team of 4 working on it, it's less complex and pushes fewer updates out in a year than NCC.

(2) The best part of 3 weeks development was lost due to HoneyGames having a family bereavement and having to travel back & forth in Italy.

(3a) With past releases the dev would pretty much write, render & test alone and release it to higher tier Patreon member and testers. These accepted the fact that there would likely be bugs - with it being so complex - and tried to hunt them down via different playthroughs/paths. Recently those releases got leaked here very early, leading to a lot of complaints and repeated posts about the same bugs. If 1.5 had been released "as is" there would have been a lot of complaints again.

(3b) For this release testers have been getting a day released at a time along with any side events for that day and then had time to test them, find and fix bugs. Personally, I have 8 pages of saves based on various combinations of characters and it takes time to work through these. In some cases an event will happen and while playing you'll think "why did that happen" and after back tracking a day or more you find that a variable has been set incorrectly (or the wrong one used) and a path has changed due to it. It's taken a couple of hours or more on a few occasions to work out the sequence of events before fixing it. For the last day released it took me most of a Sunday and a few hours on Monday/Tuesday evenings until I was happy I'd tested the release as much as I could, found, fixed & reported the bugs.

(4) The dev also has a full-time job - and I (and probably other helpers) also have full-time jobs.

There will probably a bug or too found after the release (when it happens) as not all paths/events can be tested. I don't bother with Irene, Maud cuckold & Yevette domination paths for instance and am barely interested in the porn career, but others probably do. It should be a lot smoother playthrough for the vast majority than In the past.

If you can accept it for what it is then great - and enjoy it when you get the chance to play it . If you can't accept it then there are plenty of other great games also available on F95Zone to try - I just checked and I have nearly 70 that are currently in progress - and here's me thinking I'd only play a few!

I'm sorry you feel that way.

I can just confirm that there is no way that this will get abandoned. HG has been vey busy with testers etc. I have not been as involved as I normally would be, due to big changes in my RL as well (Moving cities and all that) But rest assure, HoneyGames is very active in producing the new update.

I can vouch for the amount of new content going into the new version. Keep in mind that HG released more then 5 past games already and is already planning the sequel to NCC. So I don't think there is a chance that he will abandon this project.

Maybe his update is taking longer then he thought, but one just need to look at Cyberpunk to see what happens if you release too early

Just to keep it fair I'd agree he started 5 games but as far as I know they we're all abondoned and released. Quite different from being finished games..

I assume most who's following this thread knows this already but if there are any newcomers let's just be fair. Also, those game were rightfully abandoned to ger to this one finally, HG picked up alot and learned alot during working on those titles and NCC benefits from it.

He still sucks at communicating though :/
It's one of the BEST games from one of the worst devs, if that makes any sense..
Communicating a delay and reasons for said delay after the fact is just terrible praxis. You get out in front of it and inform your supporters WHEN something happens as too prepare them for coming delays, NEVER after...
That's no way to build a trusting relationship..
