You say Captain Obvious, but quite frankly you may be surprised at the amount of posters in various threads that keep asking the same questions that have been answered within the last 10 posts. The Heroes Harem Guild thread comes to mind.
To answer the snark though: The dates provided give you an idea of when someone might leak the game. The more expensive the tier (which you can check the donation threshold on Patreon), the less likely someone is going to leak it. Nobody knows with certainty when the game will release, but all the tools are there to make a guess.
