pretty cool so far but i assure you, you don't need to describe their facial expressions. novels describe those because there are no visuals. it makes the writing a bit amateurish. instead, use the renders to convey the expressions instead of writing *looks a bit troubled* or *blushes, happy* after a dialogue. use two frames with the only difference being the facial expression to sell it better, so it's obvious for the audience to see that their expression changed based on the context of the conversation or the environment.
then there's also the lack of writing in some parts. instead of a vividly written description of a scenery, there's times when all you get is a plain *clear night sky with sakura petals flying in the air*. i'm not expecting Shakespeare or anything, but you should try to at least be competent in writing non-dialogue stuff. after all, a kinetic novel is still a novel. the plot won't matter if the writing isn't on par with it.
there's also a scene where MC applies ointment on Ayase's back. instead of writing "Nnnggh! Ahh... *Ayase let out some moans*", just show it to the audience using MC's inner thoughts instead of being lumped in with the dialogue. a lot of my gripes with the game is it heavily relies on telling the audience instead of showing and implying it. "show don't tell" isn't a concrete rule, but it usually works. you must follow the rules before you can break them.
anyways, the plot is interesting and the visuals are great. overall, it's pretty good and seems real promising!

The progress is more than 50% now, and some of the more time consuming parts are almost done, so I'll call it 60% now since it's all just very rough estimation anyway hahaha!
This time, I'm adding in a lot more choices, since that was the major complaint from the players. Now you're more free to choose how you want to approach the game I hope. It's more work, but I guess I have to do it.
There will be 4 new scenes to unlock, new story content for almost all girls. The length of this update should be on par with the last one, maybe a little bit shorter, but still long(that's what she said).
The summer is finally going away, and my favorite seasons are coming. I can say I've mostly recovered from my summer depression, which seem to happen every year. However, fear not, KS is back, and you should be seeing me acting like a normal human once again. Did I say I love autumn and winter? Haha!
I still need to battle my ADHD, but it's much easier for me in colder seasons for some reason. Yeah I'm super weird, I know, but you're here for my game and not me so I guess it doesn't matter, heh!
I'm hoping to release New Horizon 0.3 before Christmas this year(definitely not Christmas next year I promise). I can hopefully give myself a little vacation after that. I feel like I really need a long and relaxing vacation. So many bad things happened this year for me, and working on the game is almost kinda like a therapy at this point.
I'm grateful there are people who actually enjoy the game. It warms my heart when it sometimes come up in people's conversations. I hope you will continue to play future versions.

Glad to know! Looks like we need a future tags on the OP? I don't know what the criteria is for creating that, but it would be helpful to add "harem" at a minimum

think there is a few but yeah not many and not sure how much they even matter other than getting points with a LI. But I did recall hearing the devs plans to make more choices going forward or something.
