I don't know about that, but just please don't do what half the games do and make a remake which has half the content cut and then gets abandoned.

I would be happy to just see this game continued rather than spending lot of time on remaking things. Only thing i miss would be more clear indicators on if there is still unexplored content, or if i have already seen everything in a location.
I will try my best!

I haven't played the game in a while but the last time I played it seemed like there was a lot of game time where you would complete a story objective but then have nothing to do. So you're just waiting for something to happen and the game doesn't tell you anything. So you're just passing time until something happens. It made it really frustrating because I could never tell if there was more to that path or if it just ended.

Example. Unlock the Brothel. Get info from the Brothel. Gave it to the guy. And I had an address the game wouldn't let me visit and nothing else ever happened. Was that the end? I have no idea.

A lot of the game started to get like this where the game isn't giving me feedback on progress at all and there's no indication if I need to be doing something.

Is this improved at all? Another game called crucial investigation had the same problem. Where I'm just running through days waiting for something to happen but nothing does for weeks.

Tried the online version. Already ran into bugs at the lake.

Went to sleep in the dorm room, woke up in the mansion I hadn't discovered yet. Nice. Yeah this game still needs a lot of work apparently.

1. Sadly that's partially intentional. We a had a problem where returning players would get back to back to back story events, so there's a minimum amount of days between story event triggers now.

2. I'm really sorry to say, but it has not been improved. We might add some indicator for what you're supposed to do next. But I'm afraid that players might simply do exactly what it says and ignore all the side-quests (that make up the majority of the game). Maybe after an event has been available for some time, give the player a notification? I don't know. I'll think about it.

I'll ask the two of you, because you were here semi-recently. Anyone else (except Nota Bao) can feel free to answer this as well.

If you had the choice, would you like the focus to be on more story content, even if it isn't quite as good, and will need to be tested and remade a few times. Or would you prefer a restructuring of the current content, to make routes clearer from the start of the game?

Another question.
How would you feel about a major update to the stat system the game uses? (and some maintenance needed if you want your stats to stay maxed out?)

I think if you lay out what different paths a player can take, and how to do them they'll explore the things they like and are interested in. When it's unclear what you have to do to progress any path, then it feels like there isn't one.

Like there are large chunks of time where I'm not sure if there is anything else in the game, because you're just passing time with nothing happening. And I could see a lot of players quitting there.

A minimum amount of time is OK if you tell them something is coming. And that time doesn't feel random. Like I have no idea what would trigger the next part or if there is a next part. That's my problem with the game. When I am progressing a story it's great. But it's like the pacing just nosedives after a certain point. It's very inconsistent.

I looked, it has the same date from last Aug, same number of images and same folder size as 8.9, is this really an update?

  • Added account balance on top of investment screen to make sure you’re aware of how much you have to invest.
  • Changed text from “You don’t have enough cash to invest anything!” to “You don’t have enough cash to invest ‘£_amount_tried_to_invest’!” for better immersion.
  • Added a button to the investment screen that lets you close all current open position at one click instead of having to click each individual position to close it.
  • Added option to buy 3 seeds instead of 1 seed from the farmers market, to fully load up all your planters with one purchase.
  • Added option to buy 3 mulch instead of 1 mulch from the farmers market, to fully mulch your planters with one purchase.
  • Added more places to track stats.
  • You can now break up with Zack while you’re residing in the luxury apartment.
  • Added more flavor-text to the links of solo fun in the mansion showers
  • You can now take your car uptown or downtown either from the Street or from the City.
  • You’ll now gain one cardio point for biking uptown or downtown instead of taking your car.
  • Added WIP placeholder.
  • If you can not afford to pay your rent, Zack will take what he is used to from you, but now he will also offer to you, that he lowers your rent by 30 every time you cook dinner for him.
  • Cooking dinner for Zack now has a chance of triggering a small event.
  • Solo fun in the dungeon after not wanting to leave now costs time.
  • It is now possible to have solo fun in the dungeon after not wanting to leave on the first day instead of having to wait 3 days.
  • Added counter to tell how many days you have been willingly stuck in the dungeon.
  • Heavily balanced certain jobs in regards to income, for a more realistic feel.

Does anyone have a save file? I'm stuck after i scanned the documents for brody in the casino. Nothing is happening anymore after that and the brody meet up still keeps coming back

The game leaves a very strange impression.

A feeling of emptiness. There seems to be a plot, but it's very vague. The dialogues are incredibly dull. Gameplay. It seems to be there, but it's not engaging. Playing is just boring. To play or not to play? Everyone decides for themselves, but for me, this game is a waste of time. I deleted it without regret.
